I couldn't fault Ed: from his timely responses to his creativity, he was a pleasure to deal with. We will be using him for further projects. I would highly recommend him to others. He seemlessly blends his artistic nature with a professional business head delivering on time and to the specifications required. An absolute pleasure to deal with. More...

I can't recommend Ed enough he started of doing my logo and then went on to build me a website for my company. I was over the moon with Eds work and how easy he was to talk to and bounce ideas of. He suggested many things that I would never have thought of. he is just a good guy and I'm vary happy with all he has done for me. More...

Although I haven't got the final product yet I already know that I am going to like what Ed delivers. Great service at a reasonable price!

We at Irish Canine Press were delighted when Ed agreed to produce our 'newsmag' for us. We have known him since he worked for a large GB canine newspaper, and knew his commitment to what he did, and he has continued this work ethic with us. He not only produces our complete publication, from emailed copy, to getting the final product to the printers, but also designs all the advertisements, and suggests different layouts for the various sections of the paper. Ed is very particular about quality of reproduction, paying great attention to detail, and often burns the midnight oil as we approach our deadline. We would have no hesitation in recommending Ed to anyone wanting quality design and original work of a high standard, but we hope that he will always have time to produce our publication for us four times a year as he does now, often up to 96 pages, which is read around the world. Ed has produced a number of creative pieces for me over the past couple of years and these have consistently been of a very high standard. It is a pleasure working with Ed as he quickly understands the requirement, is not afraid to challenge thinking and propose solutions, and producing well-designed creatives. More...

First I will discuss with the client what the project is and what they want to achieve. I see this as a two way process where hopefully I can provide advice on copy and format. In the end though, the customer has to be satisfied. Throughout the design process I am happy to consult with the client on amendments needed and will send pdf or jpeg proofs as necessary to ensure the project is proceeding correctly.

I use professional design software - Adobe Creative Suite - so once the client is happy I can provide artwork in practically any reasonably common file format.

I would like a detailed brief, any collateral needed (photos, artworks, copy), and a discussion on what their preferences for the job are and what they expect from the final product. Things to consider before starting a project include colour, font style, document size and overall feel of the piece.

I love spending time coming up with new and interesting designs, playing about with ideas and generally exercising my inspiration muscles. I can work from home and be flexible.

After leaving a job at a canine newspaper, some of my clients asked if I would continue to design their ads, I did and have just carried on.

I care about the client being satisfied with the final work. I don't promise to be the cheapest designer, but I do want the customer to be happy and to be able to recommend my services to others. I aim to provide high quality, professional work that does what the client needs.
