They responded promptly by coming over to my house to view the project that needs completing. It was a good start 😌 👌

I found Paul online and he is a very polite and friendly chap, he came round to give me a quote for several jobs in the house one of which was to replace my toilet and fit a new shower unit. When he removed the old loo there was no protection to the floor for the obvious water that had spilt out and now I have a water stain on a recently newly decorated stairs and landing ceiling!! A few days after the toilet was fitted, it started to overfill on flushing to the extent it became un-usable today as it became blocked completely, I have had to have a drains company out to fix the problem this has cost me £120, in addition the toilet has not been fitted correctly the cistern sits away from the wall and can easily snap should anyone using the loo sit back too far and lean on the cistern!! I have a Plumber coming to sort this out tomorrow!! The taps on the shower unit are loose and whilst on initial completion it appeared on the surface to be a good job, his lack of skill has shown through causing me added costs I can ill afford. Contact with Paul has been ignored so legal action will commence to reimburse the extra cost caused by shoddy work, I sadly don’t recommend this guy albeit on first contact he appeared reputable professional and honest!! I am not sure what these people Paul and Jake Paul was going to charge me 250 for the work but it ended up 400 and I have a lock with a key one side of my gate but just a hole in the other side of the gate so I cannot still get into or out of my main gate thank god I don't drive I would have to walk down past the front of 5 houses and then the back to get to my garage just outside my gate and I purchased a brand new double gas cooker and new cooker hood which I wanted Paul to put up I really had a shock when I went into the kitchen and sae that he was drilling to put the cookerhood up he was drilling on my new cooker the saw dust was going into then vent / back of the cooker so I got really worried I did finally got the washing line sorted out so for 400 I got a hose a lock and key one side of the gate my curtain pole should of gone right accross I have noticed it has been cut in the middle yet it was long enough to go accross I sometimes wonder when people write good things about the ese people I can't believe they are talking about the same poeple that have done work for me and my front gate fence mix and match the wood was all mine from 30 yrs jsut screwed in by these people but good luck to you all who get their work done properly and to your satisfaction I didn't find Paul at all sociable no communication at all I had to keep sending emails about the wood for the gate wood for the fence he wanted 700. 00 I did have someone to do the work but Paul phoned and I told him that I had someone doing the work for 450 he sais I will do it cheaper well of course I said well yes ok you can have the job it turned out just stress for me so when he said that he was not going to do any more work for me I am not sure what work he did for 400.00 I was about to tell him not to bother coming back to do any more work so no love lost the very next day I called for a plumber to fit the outside tap so that I could get my Kartcher working and what a lovely man and what an excellent job he made with materials brass tap and he earned himself extra by doing another job for me so there are some lovely Honest people out there it is jsut finding them More...

For a start you failed to mention the list of jobs you wanted doing doubled the moment I got there. Any mess was cleared up after work despite you telling us not to worry as you’ll clean it up. The price increase was due to the extra materials and labour as well as me travelling to pick up the items for you. Please stick to the facts if you’re going to leave a review. I don’t even know a Jake, so perhaps you also need to ensure you’re talking about the write person, as you seem to have a lot of problems with traders as I know I’m not the first person you’ve had bad things to say about.

I have used Paul & his team for a few jobs and found them to be honest & totally professional all 3 jobs were done to a very high standard would recommend them and would not hesitate to use them again

I wasn’t happy with the mess that was left behind after doing some coving in my hallway and landing. No dust sheets were used, and the adhesive has been flicked everywhere including on brand new bedroom carpet. Needless to say the job wasn’t completed to a good standard either. Having two joins 4 inches apart on one length of coving, that one length of coving could have been used, instead three pieces. It was meant to be finished and filled ready to be painted, but has had to be filled and sanded a number of times to look acceptable. More...
