What do you love most about your job?
Being a counsellor is so rewarding. I enjoy helping people to work through their issues and help them to find their own solutions to what is troubling them. It is important for me to always provide a safe space where a person can be listened to without judgement and help them move forward.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I lived through some of own difficulties when I was younger and received counselling myself. It was through that I decided to train myself and moved on to become a fully qualified counsellor and supervisor.
Why should our clients choose you?
My work is Person Centred which means you decide what you talk about, when you want to talk about it. I believe each person is the expert on themselves and given the right environment and support will find their own solutions. I always maintain respect for choice while working within the code of ethics set out by my profession. I have an Advanced Diploma and Masters in Counselling and Psychotherapy and am also a qualified Supervisor, working with other counsellors to maintain their practice.
