“I was looking for a job abroad, and it’s been my dream to work in the UK. I wanted to move here for better personal and career development. After my research, i found ENA Care Group Ltd, or they found me, lol. The international recruitment process was so smooth and swift, i remember even shedding some tears of joy. ENA gave me a chance to migrate with my son, and to give us better opportunities. I enjoy working for ENA Care group. In this job role i get to make a person's life easier and better. Most of the work is centred on the person i take care of, which suits me fine. The training i have received and continue to receive at ENA has equipped me for the role i am in. When i need advice there is help from the office who are very friendly and supportive. My wages come on time and well explained. I look forward to a mutually fulfilling working relationship here at ENA. xx More...

I joined ENA in June 2022 with my little experience in care. I was given extensive training in both theory and practical and I now feel more confident in my job. Because of how intense the training was, I’m considering further studies to become a nurse. At ENA, there is an opportunity for career progression, high value for both staff and clients and also someone friendly at the end of the phone to deal with concerns. I'm happy to find myself in this team and I look forward to a long career with ENA. More...

Working with ENA Care Group since January 2021 has been an excellent experience. The company's family values are evident in its open and transparent working culture, and I have always felt supported by the collaborative team. The strong support network provided by the company has allowed me to feel challenged and stretched as an individual, resulting in a great sense of personal satisfaction. I am impressed by the opportunities for future development that ENA offers all its employees. The open-door policy ensures that my suggestions and concerns are always heard, and I have always found the leadership inspiring, proficient and nurturing. With ENA's continued support, I can ensure that our clients receive an exceptional standard of care while being encouraged to explore and control my own future development. Working with Ena Care for the last year has been my best and most fulfilling working experience till date. I get to do what I naturally love doing and get paid for it, while learning new things as no two days are the same. I get to go to different cities and towns for work, which gives me the opportunity to learn about the place and meet new people. Another perk of the job, I get to have fantastic holidays at no cost, because though I’m working, I still get to have a great time. Also, they have the friendliest working environment and the clients I get to work with are wonderful people. More...

Terrible company to deal with. We worked as an outsource company to provide digital marketing services. Late payments and constantly having to request our invoices paid. When you try to deal with the initial contact you get passed down the line and sometimes don't receive a call back at all. Three weeks I tried to get hold of Mitch to find he was in Thailand and that my new contact was Ella. That particular issue could have been sorted before a personal holiday and due to the nature of our services, we required their support in the work we undertook. All invoices finally paid after several requests. Q&As

Edna developed juvenile arthritis in her teens, which made movement in her arms and legs more difficult as the years went by. In 1993, aged 63, Edna had an accident in her home, slipping over in her bathroom and breaking her arm. In the hospital, the nurses would often forget that she was unable to eat unassisted and sadly she was regularly overlooked.

Over time, it became harder to ensure that Edna was being properly cared for. Her husband Ronnie, also arthritic in his legs, was unable to care for her alone. It became clear to Clare, a full-time registered nurse, that the health of her friend was deteriorating. Clare and Claudio decided to invite Edna to stay in their 2-bedroom flat with their 3 children. They took it upon themselves to look for a long-term solution to help Edna return home. She had become so frail during her stay in the hospital that the day she discharged herself, she couldn’t be easily lifted from her bed to the car. At the time, Clare and Claudio couldn’t find a home care company providing trained live-in carers. Those claiming they did were unable to provide staff who could assist with tasks such as mobility transfers. This left Edna and Ronnie very vulnerable, relying on the kindness of friends to help them wash, dress and leave the house. By this point, it was clear there were no companies that could provide the standard of care Edna needed. Edna asked Clare and Claudio to help find her capable carers and, after some searching, they found Tony and Michel.
Tony and Michel were trained to care for Edna and Ronnie and this is how European Nursing Agency (ENA), in its earliest form, began.
In 2004 Clare begins to care for a close elderly friend in the local area. Jack requires hourly care, such as help getting dressed in the morning and help cooking meals, Clare and Claudio form ENA Hourly Care (previously Elisa Nursing Care). This provides domiciliary care in Welwyn, Hertfordshire, inspired by close friend Jack.

We are small enough to keep our family ethos of knowing our clients and carers on a personal level. Every client has a named case manager to talk to about their care, wishes and goals, who is able to visit them at home upon their request. We constantly strive to deliver a high-quality service that reflects our family values since the company was established. We understand relationships are a focal part of our business and that’s why we invest considerable time in getting to know all of the people we employ. All of our care staff must undergo a rigorous recruitment process to enable them to meet our high-quality care values. ENA carers have background checks, in-depth interviews, an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and also go through an intensive one-week residential training and assessment course, followed by compulsory distance learning annually.

Carers have their skills updated yearly and often undertake update training to enable them to meet the broad needs our clients have. We never make use of agency staff which means we have firm control over the quality of our care delivery.

All of our care staff are employed by us directly and we profile their experience, likes and personality in order to gain a clearer understanding when matching them with our clients.

We can arrange a first informal chat online or remotely so that you can find out more about us and meet one of the team, but we would need to come to your home to complete the assessment and meet you in person so that we can put together the bespoke care plan for you so that you are getting the high standard of care you need and deserve.

We follow all guidelines that are set by the Government, we also have our fully qualified award-winning in-house training team that regularly refreshes the carers with Infection Control training and updates. Our team of carers wear all the correct PPE and will also wear a mask if this was your preference to as we understand we are visiting some very v vulnerable clients and everyone needs to be kept safe as possible
