My daughter has worked with Emily Laws for the last 7 years. And is still there to this day. She recently had performing arts in her new high school and came home and said mummy school performing arts . . is rubbish compared to Emily laws drama. Emily encourages brings out the best in all. What inspired you to start your own business?
I wanted to combine all my skills and experiences and use them in a positive way. I teach all ages. I teach English Language and Literature, Acting, Speaking, Mime, Improvisation, Singing, Piano and keyboard. I teach Private lessons both in person and online, nationally and internationally. I teach classes of all ages. I produce up to 12 productions a year. I don't think there is a job out there that includes all of this so I had to start my own business - and I'm so glad I did. It is the best job in the world!

My level, length and range of experience sets me apart from other teachers. My classes and private sessions are inspiring, motivational and fun. I recognise the unique qualities of each individual and tailor my teaching to enable each student to achieve their own personal full potential.

I work extensively on Zoom and am particularly looking to build up my international work - particularly in countries such as China.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
During the pandemic all classes were moved to online. I still do a significant amount of online teaching. My 'live' classes all practice social-distancing and hand sanitising. The wearing of masks is now optional.
Acting Lessons
For all ages. Whether you want to perform professionally or simply want to gain self-confidence, I offer tuition in vocal techniques, improvisation, audition techniques, verse and prose, public speaking etc. I can also enter you for internationally recognised qualifications in a wide range of performance topics (LAMDA).
GCSE and 'A' Level English Tuition
I am a fully qualified teacher of English with many years of experience. I am particularly interested in helping students improve their grades and reach their full potential in English Language and English Literature.
