Clinical hypnotherapy utilises hypnosis for the treatment and management of a variety of physical and psychological symptoms. The hypnosis process allows the client to experience deep levels of relaxation often, reducing stress and anxiety levels. Although clinical hypnotherapy is highly effective for issues such as anxiety, stress, phobias, smoking, weight management etc., it may not be appropriate for some of the more complex cases.
Typically a course of clinical hypnotherapy takes around 4-6 sessions. That being said, everyone is different, and some may require more sessions, in which case I will discuss this with you to determine the best way forward. Each session typically lasts around 60 minutes and is held on a weekly basis

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) Therapy enables us to access, process and resolve disturbing memories and unpleasant life experiences. The EMDR Therapy process enables the client to address negative beliefs and unwanted body sensations about past and future events while generating supportive, positive ones.

Regression therapy focuses on past events and how they still influence the way we operate in the present day. An example would be those who have childhood abuse or neglect. It can also be effective for people who have experienced some form of relationship abuse in the past.

Trauma therapy helps people who have experienced some form of past trauma or have a diagnosis of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)

Natural and man-made disasters
Medical trauma

Treatment for a personality disorder involves a psychotherapeutic approach to therapy. As we work together, I can better understand the client's thoughts, feelings and behaviours.
As we establish what your important issues are, we can develop strategies to help resolve or manage the problems and, if necessary, help change unhelpful attitudes and behaviours.

Psychotherapy helps you to assess and treat or manage a range of emotional, social or mental health issues. With this approach, I help you tackle a range of problems such as behavioural issues, common life challenges such as anxiety, stress and depression or more complex or more severe issues, such as psychosis or personality disorders.
