How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
Firstly measure the convertibale area and check if this will be suitbale for your needs. Always check with your builder about planning and building control. Also as your builder to check for an water ingress and ensure this is remedied before and conversion works begin.
Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
1- Damp proof and raise floor with frame and OSB, Break through to main house, temp support and install lintel for door way, install door frame, lining and door
2- Remove Garage door and install brick work and window to front. This can also be avoided for planning reasons by installing a stud wall 4-5ft behind the garage door leaving a storage space. This can be helpful for utiltiy room and also help consumer avoid strict planning rules if garage door removal is not permitted.
3- First fix electircs and stud walling
4- plaster boarding and skimming
5- 2nd fix electircs and certs

15 Years usally insurnace backed depending on the particalars. But we always aim to give ample peace of mind.
What do you love most about your job?
Perosnally I am the director and project manager. For me I take most enjoment from my ability to bring not only my own bu tother peoples visons from a drawing to reality.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I spent 10 Years working for another company and a realsied I had the knowlege and ability to take on work for myself.
