Booked a table of 8 for family meal at 18.30 on a Friday. Ordered food at 19.00. An hour and 20 mins later no sign of any food so checked with bar. Kitchen admitted one more ticket ahead of us, not even started our order yet. Quick refund and all nipped to the chip shop. Won’t be rushing back, I wouldn’t suggest anyone else bothers either. Lovely to see the fire lit, first time in forever. Friendly staff (new). Good pint and big selection of gin.Our local always, feels comfortable, let's hope it's upwards and onwards. Give it a try.

Booked a table for sunday14th november, left my contact number but when we arrived found the kitchen was closed. Would have been common courtesy to have let me know.

Lovely pub great staff and lovely regulars. I like having a pint there because of the friendly atmosphere but above all I love the friends I’ve met in the past few months which includes staff and non staff.
