Needed to move garden table with chairs. Got a very quick response when asked for a quote and it was easy to communicate.
However, when we were agreeing on the time to meet up at the collection location, I was asked to confirm that I won’t be late and will arrive sharp on time as the driver won’t be late. I arrived few minutes before the agreed time, got the furniture placed by the street so it’s quick and easy to load them to the van. The driver was late more than 20min even he previously mentioned that he lives very close. So I needed to wait for more than 20min on the street with the furniture.
It was nice of him to help me load the van, but on the way to the drop off location, the furniture was moving a lot in the van, items weren’t secured not to move so much.
When I asked if I can go together with him in the van to the drop off location, I was told that it will cost me half price of the taxi rate. This really surprised me, never heard about this before. He was anyway going to the same location and I just wanted to be sure that the furniture will reach my home.
Quality and price ratio for 2min load, 20min drive and 2min unload was not satisfying. More...
