Eastern Garage Doors first fitted a Garador door to our garage. As we became older decided to have this changed from manual operation to an automatic. We had the canopy style installation in order to accommodate our car and it's radio aerial. However as I am no longer able to drive I have no had a different automatic operation installed and I am truly pleased with it. I called them and they were busy, but as I was worried about the contents of my garage, they moved a few things around and managed to come out the same day. The company experienced problems which were no fault of theirs - a traffic accident involving the van coming for the first appointment which completely threw their schedules out. The job was mainly carried out two days later than booked, on a Saturday. There were some issues with damage to surrounding brickwork when the door was fitted. However, the company took my complaint about this damage seriously and arranged to have it rectified. Although the completion took some weeks to achieve, the end result is excellent. After a poor start (when the original sales person failed to appear, the service since then has been exemplary. The young man who came to measure up was polite, courteous and highly efficient. An excellent company - highly recommended. The salesman was very professional and gave me a very clear quote and lots of advice on roller vs sectional dooors. I went for two sectionals with one motorised. Ordering was easy over the phone. After waiting a few weeks I received a phone call as promised to arrange fitting. The fitter Carl was superb. He was meticulous and worked really hard on his own to fit the two garage doors in one day. He was very polite and professional.
