Introduction

It’s recognised that design touches and improves almost every aspect of the human environment. More readable spreadsheets, an easy to understand emergency sign, slick ever-changing automotive design, fashion or architecture, our entire World continues to improve due to design consideration. All too often however we are told by the larger developers just what we can have or can afford to live in. Bespoke Architecture, extensions to our homes and restyling interiors we are able to influence our own living environment through design.

Approach

Impressive Architecture is arguably expected in modern design by quality Architects and designers, however planning a home from the inside out is our foremost consideration. A home is a place where the occupiers interaction is almost entirely on the inside and therefore or paramount importance. Furthermore, if not designed from the inside in a great detail, a focus on architecture will almost certainly mean poorly utilised interior spaces. As a visual statement, a secure place and as a protected environment Architecture is a challenge that we embrace, however we will not compromise on the usability, functionality and enjoyment of living within the building.

When developing spaces into a seamless environment we ensure there is a minimum of halls, corridors and free spaces. This ensures the property maintains value and appears to be, somewhat remarkably, far more spacious than perhaps it otherwise appear.

Light, both natural and artificial and the placement of light source are highly important. Light varies during the day as are the needs for differing lighting intensities in different parts of the house over time. Likewise the spaces are used in unique ways during the day. There are important times to enjoy spaces or merely to use with the minimum of fuss. Certain aspects of the property give way to pleasure, while others function and there are plenty of opportunities to provided surprises and smooth transitions.
