We hired Robbie to get plans drawn up for our tenement flat renovation. We moved a structural wall and remodeled our kitchen, sitting room and bedroom. It was a complicated project but Robbie made the whole process much easier. He project managed from the initial design through to applying for the building warrant, overseeing works and applying for compleciton of works from the council. I have known Robbie for many years on a professional basis and so when we were looking to carry out work on our home, and required the services of an architect, I approached Robbie to carry out the work. Robbie drafted all design specs for us and liaised with builders, engineers and kitchen designers to ensure that our job was carried out to the highest spec, whilst following all necessary regulations. Robbie has been invaluable throughout the entire building process, keeping us advised of what we needed to do every step of the way. Domestic Architecture Development designed a single storey extension to the rear of my semi-detached bungalow. Their design was very precise to my original idea. They even suggested some ideas to improve the design which I ultimately went for. I found them efficient, polite, thorough, and the quality of the design was exceptional. We contracted Domestic Architecture in 2013 to work closely with us on a conceptual design, for a new build dwelling in a rural part of Aberdeenshire.
This was to be a challenging project for both ourselves and D.A as the design would have to meet strict planning criteria and a high build specification.
We are delighted to report that after three years of hard work, focused attention to detail and a close collaboration with D.A Architect, we have achieved full planning at first attempt.
D.A were attuned with our specific requirements from the get go, and provided a very professional and responsive service.
We are about to commence the build and we are very much looking forward to continuing our contractual relationship with D.A throughout this stage until final completion.
I can highly recommend D.A to any prospective clients. I am confident that we will be able to report a 5 star rating once we complete the build.
