Hypnotherapy

I have reached out to David to help me stop my bad smoking habit of 15 years although honestly I wasn't 100% sure it will work.
It had definitely been an amazing experience as after only one hypnotherapy session with David I became a nonsmoker with no desire whatsoever of having a cigarette.
David's calming presence and skilful guidance allowed me to delve deep into my subconscious and address this issue I had been struggling with for some time.

I have suffered with severe anxiety on and off since I was very young , it had got to the point recently (age 40) where I couldn’t do my job as my mental health was out of control.
I can honestly say after one session I was much much better , I was taught how to let the thoughts that had been taking me over pass me by.
I decided to have 4 more sessions to reinforce what I had been taught and work on my general confidence and it has really paid off in my professional and work life , my boss has commented on how much more on the ball I am recently and that is definitely down to my Hypno cbt sessions

I came to David wanting to deal with confidence issues relating to my work and personal life. David and I would talk things through and he would craft some unique exercises for me and share them as MP3 files. It was very helpful being able to use these exercises regularly. Each one was crafted to deal with the very things we had discussed in our sessions, making them more effective than some self-help work I had done on my own in the past.

I was a determined and committed smoker for 15 miserable years. I first quit using the Allen Carr method. This worked well for me for 8 years. But after a few casual puffs here and there at social events, I descended back into the claws of the Nicotene monster. Before I knew it I was back on 10 - 15 cigs a day. I needed help! I reached out to David and I am so glad that I did. He was extremely thorough, giving me exercises to do and audio recordings to listen to prior to our appointment. When I met David for our session I was immediately struck by both his sincerity and his kind, gentle manner. He asked me a lot of questions and explained the Hypnotherapy process in simple clear terms. He got to the root of my issues with nicotene and worked with me on these in a focused and specific way. I suffer from Parkinsons Disease which has several symptoms one in particular was causing me distress. I felt insomnia was ruining my life. I did some research and found David and am so pleased I did. I’ve given David 5* because he helped to ease my anxiety and throughout the course he always tailored the sessions to what he thought was best for me.

He was always really flexible and tried to accommodate me every week despite variations in my work schedule and if I ever needed anything he was quick to respond by email with advice and information how to turn things around for me and work through my problems.

I went to David as I was having a difficult time with things and was intrigued by the combination of Hypnotherapy and CBT. It turned out to be a good decision as David is a great guy who is very easy to talk to and understands what you’re going through. He taught me a more positive way of thinking and overcoming what I’m going through, although it isn’t an overnight fix but he has definitely put on the right road with the different techniques he has shown me and the sessions I've had with him.

There are a lot of therapists out there and I feel incredibly fortunate to have found David. I was in a mess after my marriage ended. I wanted to try CBT in person but was sceptical about the use of Zoom for a talking therapy as I felt it would be too impersonal. But I decided to give it a try during the lockdown period and was glad to discover that David is using it to treat anxiety and stress, with such positive results. I felt that the sessions were tailored to my individual needs, especially as he gave me additional exercises to do on my own when I needed some support and recordings that were useful to play at night if I felt some anxiety creeping back into my thoughts.
