Marios and his team provides five star quality and service. I would highly recommend this team. February 2020 they installed a complete new bathroom which is amazing, excellent standard. They were back in July, completed internal work of removing old flooring and laying new flooring/stairs throughout and decorated our entire house all at a very high standard. The quality of finish was superb. Back again March 2021 where they completed a brand new patio and driveway . Marios and his team are highly experienced, very professional, very polite/friendly and 100% reliable, plus provide the best advice. They just get on with the work and at the end of each day everything is neat and packed away. We have complete confidence and would not consider any other company for any future work. DMP are a breath of fresh air before I met them I had several builders come to my house and give me a quotation which wasn’t realistic.
I was recommended to DMP and they have carried out work to the highest standard and most realistic price twice now on my property. Professional polite respectful very clean and most of all very knowledgeable which help them create the highest quality of work . I found them very patient and listen to my ideas and what I wanted , the refreshing thing was they also had their own ideas which was nice . DMP thank you for making my idea is a reality and leaving me with an outstanding bathroom and home !

How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
You can measure the head height. The minimum height required for a loft conversion is 2300mm. You can measure this by running a tape measure from the floor to the ceiling at the tallest part of the room. If it is 2300mm or more your loft should be tall enough to convert.
You can also look at similar properties in your area, if they have loft conversions it is likely that you will be able to convert your loft.
Run us through the different stages in the loft conversion process - what’s involved?
Planning Phase - either a) contact us to prepare drawings for formal submission to your Local Authority or b) if Permitted Development apply for a Building Notice from your Local Authority.
Pre-Construction Phase - employ a Building Control Officer (Local Authority or Approved Consultant), Party Wall Surveyor and Structural Engineer
Works Phase - works can begin once planning has been granted or a Building Notice approved. During the Works Phase it will be necessary to contact the Building Control Officer to approve part of the works which will subsequently be covered up (such as depth of insulation between the rafters). We will then start the first phase of the works, such as erecting scaffolding, gable/dormer construction, new steelwork, roof, windows, building the new stairs etc. The next stage is to carry out all of the internal works including plumbing, electrics, plastering, decoration etc. On completion Electrical (NICEIC) and gas certificates will be issued to the Customer.

We offer a year defects liability period and ''settling period''. The settling period accounts for shrinkages that may appear as the new structure expands and shrinks during different seasons of the year.
