Dance4 would like to say a big thanks to DISCOMANIA who made last Friday’s Campaign25 fundraising event possible with the use of hiring Karaoke equipment.
Hiring the equipment was easy and straight forward. Sara was excellent at providing easy to use instructions which enabled us to run our event with no additional technical support.
The fundraising event was a great success raising £700.70 which will go towards Dance4's fundraising for new home for dance in the heart of Nottingham. I would definitely recommend using DISCOMANIA for future hire of Karaoke technical equipment.

Discomania saved the day. I along with 19 other cyclists from West Bridgford Cycling Club organised a fundraiser for Leukaemia Lymphoma Research. We were showing the film Mamma Mia in the grounds of Holme Pierrepont Hall. Unfortunately the projector failed on the night and our supplier was unable to resolve the issue. We went to a wedding where Discomania supplied the 'Silent Disco' headsets and it was AWESOME!Its a really good way to get around the venue telling you to turn the music off at 11pm, we danced till 3 in the morning in very silly silence (when you took the headphones off) They had 2 channels so there were 2 songs going at a time and if one group looked like they were having more fun, you just switched the button across and then you were in their party! Have recommended this to a friend and they are also Silent Disco'ing at their wedding now! All the kit worked amazingly well, apart from us running a few pairs low on battery after 6 hours dancing!! hahaha But we had spares too!! :) Great set up! More...

What inspired you to start your own business?
I was inspired to start my business because I loved DJ'ing for people and getting them dancing and then it just expanded in to also hiring equipment for parties and then in 2007 Silent Disco's.

SILENT DISCOMANIA
Silent Disco is the new party phenomenon spreading the world and is a novel and innovative idea that is taking the clubbing and party world by storm, and our Silent Discomania Kit gives you the opportunity to perform one of your very own at your party.
Your guests are handed wireless headphones at the beginning of the party and our customised Silent Discomania Kit allows participants the chance to listen to two different types of music thru 2 audio channels and you could even have two different DJ's, this is especially popular at weddings where so many music tastes can vary and ives your guests a multi genre event without having to leave the room and choice of music the whole night thru, the oldies can listen to the classics and the youngsters can listen to music from back at university and school and more up to date club and chart anthems.
So if a participant doesn't like what's playing on Channel A they can simply flick a switch on their headphones to tune into Channel B and a completely different track! That is the beauty of the Silent Discomania.
Imagine the scene as your dance floor is split between those dancing to James Brown and those head banging to Nirvana. Then with the introduction of an anthem like Bohemian Rhapsody or Sex On Fire by The Kings Of Leon you can be sure the "Silent Disco" won't remain Silent for long
You can either hire a Silent Disco Party Package, or we can just hire you the headphones, and transmitter with all leads we simply send them to you by courier with fully easy to understand instructions and you always receive them way in advance of your party so you have time to play with them and make sure everything is perfect then you can either plug in your Lap-Top, I-Pod or CD Player or supply your own DJ's and watch the party go crazy.
