Q&As

We started this business to do a public service by helping the frail and elderly live comfortable, fulfilling lives in the comfort of their own homes. Our company was founded on compassion and reliability. We saw a need in the market for our services and we believe that we can provide it inline with the CQC fundamental standards.

After the Covid-19 pandemic, we have seen the public push to help the vulnerable within their communities, ensuring they are well taken care of. The CQC recently published research that highlighted that stress, mental health complications and lack of rest amongst unpaid carers (family, friends etc.) in the UK are significant challenges, something that was particularly accelerated by the pandemic. As we expect a decrease in the volume of unpaid carers as pandemic trends unwind, councils need to support the public in their efforts to protect the vulnerable in their communities as well as dealing with the increasing volume of care mandates – for this, we strongly believe Dirie Care Limited is a great, trusted partner of choice.

Services

Our care workers will be assisting clients with their personal hygiene – Personal care is a regulated activity, which means any aspect of personal care services are required to be registered and are inspected and rated. Personal care consists of any aspect or any level of personal hygiene i.e. washing, bathing, continence care etc.

Assistance with dressing – this includes helping clients to get dressed, choosing appropriate clothing or to give full support in dressing or just helping with socks or surgical stockings.

With ongoing monitoring by our care workers and staff, we can increase or decrease the help required to ensure you are comfortable and confident with the services you receive.

Whether you or your loved one choose to stay at home or a hospice, our experienced care workers are on hand to support those with a terminal diagnosis or a life limiting illness. We compassionately assess every individual with a respectful and sensitive assessment and base their needs on this. We not only offer physical care, our care givers will support emotional and psychological needs.

Receiving specialist home care in familiar surroundings can hugely improve the lives of people with dementia conditions. From help with cooking to respite care for regular carers, a care plan often means you are able to stay in your own home for longer.

Our carers can help with those everyday tasks that give a reassuring routine in familiar surroundings. Some of the benefits of this type of dementia care are:

1. Stay in your own home, surrounded by any loved ones or pets you live with.

2. Free up family from domestic tasks and get more quality time together.

3. Keep your independence.
