What do you love most about your job?
Being a care provider encompasses dedication, resilience, empathy, and, above all, profound understanding. Genuine understanding involves stepping into another’s shoes and providing the same level of care and compassion that you would wish for yourself. This philosophy is at the core of our service. The incredible privilege of offering support and comfort to individuals in need and witnessing the positive impact of that care on their lives is extremely fulfilling and phenomenal. The human connection and the ability to make a meaningful difference in peoples’ lives every day are the highlights of being a carer.
What inspired you to start your own business?
During my tenure as a health professional who provided healthcare to patients in their own homes, I encountered gaps in the care provided to my individual patients from various care companies. Recognising these discrepancies, I felt compelled to improve upon the existing standards. This realisation served as the driving force behind my decision to establish my own business, aiming to offer a higher quality of care to those who require my services.

We provide comprehensive personal care starting from the moment the client wakes up in bed. Our services include assistance with washing, dressing, and teeth brushing. We also aid in meal preparation, offer hospitality, and provide companionship or sitting services throughout the day. Additionally, we assist in picking up medications from the pharmacy and ensure the client is settled back into bed in the evening. Please note, these services are conducted face-to-face and cannot be provided remotely.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
We have measures in place which aims to mitigate the risk of COVID-19 transmission and prioritise the safety and well-being of both clients and carers as listed below:
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - Carers wear masks, gloves to prevent / minimise transmission.
Enhanced Hygiene Practices - we encourage regular handwashing, sanitising surfaces, and maintaining cleanliness in care environments.
Regular Testing - We organise and encourage regular COVID-19 testing for staff as well as symptom monitoring to ensure staff are fit to provide care.
Limiting Exposure- We have Implemented measures to help reduce unnecessary contact or exposure, by adjusting staff schedules to help minimise unnecessary contacts with multiple clients.
Vaccination Requirements - We encourage all staff to get vaccinated against COVID-19 to protect both themselves and our clients.
Education & Training: We provide staff on COVID-19 safety protocols and procedures for all staff.

Devoted care Agency Ltd offers a Domiciliary Care business. We support and assist housebound elderly, people with disabilities, or other challenges to lead fulfilling lives within the community setting and in the comfort of their own homes. Support may range from personal care, assistance with daily activities, medication management, and emotional support, tailored to the needs. We provide reablement support to help enable individuals to live independently while receiving the necessary support. We incorporate a broader range of services provided at home, not limited to individuals with specific needs; including companionship, assistance with household chores, and general support for people recovering from illness or injury, the elderly, or anyone who requires extra help to remain independent. We aim to enhance the quality of life for individuals by promoting their independence, dignity, and overall well-being. Devoted care only employs exceptionally trained caregivers to deliver personalised care plans, ensuring the clients receive the necessary support while maintaining their autonomy and privacy
