Counselling helped me to deal with trauma that I had locked away.
Donna helped me to understand my own feelings and helped me to work towards re-wiring my reactions to my environment. I no longer need support or medication for my PTSD and anxiety.

She was very professional, and I felt comfortable telling her my story. The atmosphere was relaxed and I feel that I was listened to, and encouraged enormously.

I have and will continue to recommend this service to my friends and family. I started off very angry and frustrated with my situation, and now I am able to see it as a lesson learned. My trauma has made me who I am, but I wouldnt have let it shape me positively without the support of Donna. Thank you

Q&As

The most rewarding experience is to sit alongside another human being whilst they learn to trust themselves and you and begin to tell you their story. I am humbled everyday that my clients choose me to experience this part of their life journey.

I was tired and frustrated with the lack of mental health services being offered to those who needed support in the moment. I felt I could fill a gap and help local people who may have fallen through the net or felt they simply wanted their needs met immediately by a private counsellor rather than wait months for a NHS appointment.

I offer a safe and secure space for clients to explore what they feel they need to bring to counselling. I offer a choice of face to face counselling and online therapy. Both I have studied for, trained for and I am passionate about.

I am fully trained as an online therapist and offer video calling, telephone and chatroom appointments.

During Covid-19 I have moved all clients to online work which has proved to be an excellent service providing fantastic results.

Services

I offer a safe and secure space in my own home which is easily accessible by foot, road or public transport.
Your session will be free from preconceptions and judgements and will last approximately 50 minutes long.

Online therapy is growing fast and offers the same evidence based outcome as face to face therapy.
It is extremely flexible offering you the choice of where, when and how.
I offer telephone, chat-room, e-mail and video sessions which last approximately 50 minutes with the exception of email.
Emails are exchanged between us as often as needed and are restricted to 1000 words each.
