What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
For me, composition is key when taking a photograph. It's always about focusing on the central subject, but also the surroundings. If you're able to create layers within the photograph, it builds a whole lot more depth to the photo.
For example, if you have a bunch of flowers that are out of focus in the foreground, then the main subject in the centre, and finally more trees blurred out in the background.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
Once we have built a mutual relationship together, and established common ground, there's a few things I need to know to get started on a project. Such as:
1. What is the main goal or objective for the brand?
2. What would be the ideal outcome for the project?
3. Where will the project be distributed? And for whom? (target audience)
4. Are there any limitations we may face with this project?
5. Have you worked on a similar project before?
What do you love most about your job?
I love the fact that no two days are the same, and that I am lucky enough to choose how and when I work with the brands and projects that I care about.
I also really enjoy solving problems that may occur during a project. This gives me a challenge that makes the job that more exciting, and also allows me to learn more about how I will work in the future
What inspired you to start your own business?
The idea of being able to build a brand up from the ground sounds exciting to me. Also, being a freelancer opens up so many avenues to all kinds of different, interesting projects that I otherwise wouldn't be able to work on if I was locked into one job.

I always go the extra mile to understand you and your business, so that the end product will be as effective as possible. After all, projects are collaborative, not just a job that "has to be done".
