Debra did my make up on Saturday for our anniversary. Absolutely loved the experience. I went for a subtle smokey eye/ red lips look to go with my retro dress. As the mother of the bride, Debbie arrived promptly and listened to everything we asked for (this was for the pre wedding make up) which I definitely recommend before the day.
Debbie recommended some lovely looks and showed us some other shots of brides, bridesmaids and mother of the bride to let us see her work. Our nerves on the day of the wedding were taken away, Debbie was constantly professional and always making us feel relaxed with a lot laughs.
Debbie stayed for the day and ensured that touch ups were done before the photographs and speeches to make sure we all looked perfect.
I would highly recommend Debbie as her professionalism and enthusiasm was amazing. I personally would like to thank her again for making our daughters day perfect and making me look 10 years younger and stunning.

Debbie came to our house yesterday to do a make up/over with my daughter (age 11) and her 3 friends for her birthday treat. Debbie was fantastic - she chatted to the girls and gave them skincare tips and a tutorial on applying makeup. She then did a makeover on each of them and the final result was amazing! I can’t recommend Debbie more - from my experience and the experience of bride friends, it’s not easy to get such an excellent MUA in Edinburgh.
The makeup was flawless, lasted all day and it didn’t look overdone. It felt nice and light, and provided a good coverage. I was so happy with it and had lots of nice comments.
My mum and bridesmaid were also pleased!
To add to that, Debbie is just lovely to have around when getting ready for the big day. She was organised, meticulous and put me at ease when the pre wedding nerves were beginning to set in.

Absolutely amazing from first point of contact. I was recommended Debbie by another make up artist and she was perfect. She listened to what I wanted. Since I’m not a big make up wearer she advised me on what would best suit me and keep a natural look, which I really wanted. I was originally worried about having a thick layer of make up on all day, but it really wasn’t, you barely noticed you had it on. I was so happy with what she achieved. What do you love most about your job?
I just absolutely love being part of someone's biggest and most important day. I feel honoured to be a part of it and seeing someone so happy. It's great to build relationships with my brides and see them totally flourish on the day
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always loved makeup and had been doing it for an incredibly long time for friends and family. After the birth of my daughter I quickly decided to make it into a proper business. She is my world and I hope that she will see me as a great role model. Perhaps some day I can help her start her own business too.
Why should our clients choose you?
Brides nowadays want a really natural look and that is what I specialise in. I believe that skin should look like skin (not to say that blemishes can't be covered up without looking caked...they can). I like to get to know my brides on a personal level and understand exactly what it is that's important to them.
I am also one of the few makeup artists in the industry who has a completely 100% cruelty free kit. Majority of my kit (and all of my brushes) are also vegan too - something which is becoming more and more important for many of my clients!
