How can someone tell if their Garage is suitable for conversion?
Most garages are suitable for conversion, if they are of solid construction ie brick, block or even timber framed
Run us through the different stages of the Garage conversion process - what's involved?
Usually removal of garage doors, brick wall and install window, level the floor, insulation to floor, walls and ceiling,electrics, heating, plastering, doors and skirting, and decoration
How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
All lofts will need new deeper floor joists, approx 250mm, so long as there is good roof height with suitable floor space between front and rear pitch
Run us through the different stages in the loft conversion process - what’s involved?
Usually steels, floor joists, rafter support, fit breathable membrane under roof covering. Build a timber framed dormer if required, insulation to floor and rafters, new electrics, heating. Plastering, and decoration
