I made contact with Danny after our builder left asbestos in our garden. From the point of contact Danny was polite and approachable. We arranged a time for collection and Danny was punctual and got straight to the job. He also identified another piece of material which we did not know was asbestos and was open about this. We found ourselves in a pickle on the day of completion, with a lot more asbestos than we knew what to do with. I put a request up on Bark and Danny was so quick to contact me with advice and solutions. That same afternoon him and his team were in, and the day after they had started the works on removal, working over the weekend to get this done for us! Danny from first class from initial contact, polite, punctual, easily contactable, super helpful, explained things in plain language and most importantly honest, transparent and a man of integrity about options for our asbestos removal job which rather involving scrabbling concrete to ensure bitumen adhesive was removed which is very expensive and intrusive, we had a self-levelling, fibre reinforcing screed over the floor where asbestos tiles were safely removed. Danny & Chris poly sheet (1000 grade) and taped each room they worked in and used an incredible negative pressure unit which discharged out the window which were also sheeted up. Our whole floor is lovely and flat ready for flooring, and a certificate of safe removal and disposal is on its way to us for record keeping.
Everything Danny described from the start was aligned with actions on the job, and even when extra levelling compound was needed he was happy to retain the agreed price - which by the way, was very reasonable!
It’s rare to find all star trade professionals like Danny & Chris these days who exceeds all expectations.

Danny showed a willingness to provide exactly what we wanted from our first conversation. He responded to my enquiry as soon as I placed it on Bark and had the quote to me within the hour! Danny came over to the property to meet my partner and I before he started to carry out the works (over the weekend to get it done asap for us). He discussed exactly what he will be doing and went round each room ensuring we were happy before he started. He also didn’t realise when quoting us we had some very difficult tiles in our kitchen which I’d forgotten to mention but he stayed true to his original quote and removed them regardless which we cannot thank him enough for.

Throughout the asbestos removal we had frequent photo updates of what stage of the removal he and his team were at as well as phone calls to update on his progress. Any hurdle he came across he ensured was dealt with in a timely manner m. On day 2 of 4 he informed us nearly everything was completed asked my partner and I to come and check we were happy as the property was now safe to do so! He talked us through everything he had done and went above and beyond with his team to get different tools for our ground floor to complete the job with a beautiful finished latex.

Danny made the effort to come all the way back to our property driving several hours the next day to ensure the flooring had set the way he wished it would! He helped my partner lift all our appliances back into the kitchen saving us a huge job of our own.

DC Asbestos we’re very professional delivering a very clean separation and removal of a soil pipe stack. Minimal damage to tiles so only minor decoration needed after all new plumbing installed after they completed. They also arranged a clean air report as asbestos was involved, waiting on-site until the test results were ready, and signed off. Would definitely recommend them. More...
