▪ Keeping the activity time involved as short as possible (person-centred in mind)

▪ Unless crucial for the treatment, avoid skin to skin contact and use gloves where possible.

Our support staff are well trained in observing, monitoring, and recording patients’ conditions by taking temperatures, pulse, respirations and weight, communication with patients, relatives and cares, assisting with generic duties, personal care including infection prevention and control, food, personal hygiene and overall reassurance, comfort and safety and promoting positive mental/physical/nutritional health with patients
