Dave went above and beyond at every stage of the process of planning and delivering a lunch party for 36 people in a marquee in our garden.
He came to discuss the menu and look at the kitchen. He suggested a varied and delicious menu taking account of various allergies and food preferences among the guests.
On the day of the party he arrived promptly at 8am with two helpers. All of them were friendly and efficient. They served from 1pm and paced the meal really well so that we had plenty of time to chat and digest the copious quantities of food.
So many of the guests commented on the quality of the food.
Afterwards the clearing up was done with cheerfulness and efficiency and the kitchen was left spotless.
I cannot recommend Dave too highly. He is brilliant and very good value for money. We have been talking about him to all our friends.

Dave cooked a 60th birthday meal for 12 adults at a holiday cottage in the Peak District National Park.
Dave provided guidance and advice on menu choices, which was a surprise meal for the birthday girl.
This included ensuring that the one guest with gluten intolerance was able to enjoy the same menu choices as the rest of the party.
The meal was a great success and everyone enjoyed the meal and the experience that Dave ands assistant Ellen provided right through from their arrival to prep the meal and the room to serving the meal and then clearing it all away.
Once again we would never have known that Dave had been as the kitchen was left spotless.
We have left Dave's contact details with the owners and hopefully future guests will have the opportunity to taste Dave's food.
I'm now just thinking what family occasion can I ask Dave to come and cater for us. Can't recommend Dave highly enough.

We had a fantastic experience with Dave. The whole journey from start to finish was excellent. Starting with the menu choices, the quality of the food. One guest was gluten free and Dave prepared the whole menu gluten free and we all agreed it was the best gluten free food we had ever tasted. The sticky toffee pudding was ‘heavenly’. Dave arrived at our house, prepared and served the meal and then left my kitchen spotless. He shared some of his tips and was happy to answer our questions as he prepared dinner. Dave did an incredible job of catering for 22 people at a hen do in August 2022 . He made the booking process super smooth and designed a bespoke menu to fit with the bride's preference. We held a summer party for 75 friends in a marquee on our lawn, and we needed a good chef. We found and had discussions with Dave Pascoe who came across very well and we entrusted the catering arrangements to him. He visited our home for discussions, we agreed his plan, and on the day he arrived with a van full of food and equipment. He quickly got to work with the support of two agency assistants and at the agreed time the most fabulous food started appearing on the serving tables; and for the next three hours he kept producing more and more mouthwatering dishes. Our guests could not believe their luck and however full they were at any point, they kept going back as more and more tempting dishes appeared. It was an absolute pleasure having Dave as our Chef for the evening. Liaising with Dave prior to the event was easy and he ensured he catered for the dietary requirements in our party of 10.
We felt very comfortable with Dave from the moment he arrived and the service was very professional. Food was exceptional, well prepared, delicious and innovative. We enjoyed the whole experience very much and I would wholeheartedly recommend Dave. His attention to detail from laying the table to the flavorsome food he prepares makes the whole experience very special.

OMG if you’re struggling to decide on a personal chef for your special occasion then Dave is your man. I was away with a large group of friends for the weekend and we wanted to have a night off. Dave answered my enquiry promptly, suggesting various menus to accommodate all of us which included vegans and allergy sufferers and what he came up with was just mouth watering bliss! I hired Chef Dave for my mums 50th. The food was amazing! He designed a menu based around all the things my mum loves! Nothing was too much trouble, he made sure everyone was looked after, including the vegetarians and a couple of food allergies.
