Amanda has an easy going manner and her enthusiasm is 110% Nothing is ever a problem to her. She has an eye for detail, great interaction with those that she is taking photos off, takes her time to get the picture just right for that lasting memory that you the client is looking for. From the moment I met Amanda at a wedding fair I knew she was the photographer for us. She is down to earth, puts you at ease and is so passionate about photography.
I am nervous in front of the camera but Amanda really helped to relax me and the results were amazing. In order to help me relax we arranged to meet and had a pre-wedding shoot. This helped to get to know each other and what to expect on the wedding day.
In the run up to the wedding Amanda was always available via telephone or email to answer any questions we had.
On the wedding day itself so many guests commented they didn't even notice the photographer. Amanda and Duco blended into the background capturing amazing shots of our big day.
The photographs were amazing and we were over the moon with them. Every special moment was captured and we couldn't have wished for a better photographer to capture memories that will last forever.

Describe your creative process.
It all starts with a conversation to see if we're a good fit. I would then seek to find out more about your project, objectives, audience and delivery dates - this can be in the form of a video call, questionnaire, e-mail exchange or a simple telephone call depending on your requirements. Then I would progress onto sharing initial ideas perhaps in the form of a sketch, mood board or digital concepts before working on the final design and delivering the final artwork.
What information do you need from a client before you can start work?
It very much depends on the project. This would usually include a design brief which we can run through together and if applicable your brand guidelines and delivery deadlines.
What do you love most about your job?
I love to bring initial ideas to life. From the initial concepts to the final product. I recall seeing my book cover design in Waterstones and couldn't help but tell the shop assistant " I designed that!".
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have worked in design for many years prior to taking a break to specialise in photography. During the COVID19 pandemic I was asked to design a brand identity for Reflect Financial, I jumped at the chance as my photography business had been hit hard. I enjoyed it so much that I decided to return to graphic design.

I am currently working remotely and offer design services for clients in both the UK and NC.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I have adapted to my customers' needs by offering video call inside of face2face meetings. Design can be easily be presented, discussed and edited all on live on Teams. This cuts down on endless review stages, makes the review and sign-off process more efficient for my busy clients.
