Yoga Classes

Christian is a fantastic teacher and very knowledgable. I’ve had several 1-2-1 sessions with him now and he creates relaxing and engaging sessions. He listens and explains things very well.
He tailors his sessions to suit each individual and is patient with no pressure applied.
I highly recommend him. Thank you!

Q&As

Helping people discover yoga and enjoy its benefits in itself is a reward in itself. Plus I am lucky enough to do something that truly love.

I was a late convert to yoga; but I can confidently say that my passion for it is rooted in two key areas, namely the emotional and physical benefits of yoga. Initially, it was a persistent minor neck injury, and a realisation that at 41 years of age I needed start looking after myself, that made me pluck up the courage to try yoga. Much to my delight the physical benefits of Yoga were quickly realised, and I to this day I still relish the challenge of improving my personal daily practice. However, and very much to my surprise, it was the emotional impact that Yoga had on me that really caught me off guard. I quickly discovered that I would be hit by an emotional wave either during &/or at the end of a led class. This scared the life out of me of initially, and usually resulted in me trying to ‘man-up’ and pretend that some sweat had gone in my eyes?! It was only after I had successfully beaten a hasty retreat to my ‘ man-cave’ at the end of the class that I would realise how fresh, balanced and calm the class had made me feel. It was at this point that I became hooked on Yoga; and I am now driven to develop my own personal practice and deepen my knowledge, so that I can share this experience with as many more people as I can.

Services

Develop your personal practice by enjoying tailored 1-2-1 yoga seasons that will give you the right balance of physical practice (Asana), Breath work (Pranayama) and Meditation.

Each session will be designed around your needs and will be delivered online via Zoom &/or a similar platform.

These yoga 1-2-1 sessions are perfect for beginners, seasoned yogis, couples or friends wanting to take their practice to the next level or simply want to develop a daily practice.

This calming Breath & Meditation 1-2-1 practices will help balance and calm your body / mind.

Each practice will be split into two sections. You’ll start the practice with breath work (Pranayama) preparing you to enjoy a guided meditation.

During a guided meditation, we will focus on a chosen mantra/affirmation/intention/focus designed to cultivative an awareness, a deeper understanding of the body-mind system and connection to ourselves and others.

Suitable for all levels.

An energising and balancing class that is suitable for all levels of yogi.

These gentle flowing practice will develop your breath, whilst gently stretching and energise you. Each practice will offer you a gentle and well-rounded sequence of poses that can improve your strength, flexibility and mobility.

If you need to release the stresses of life then this gentle yoga flow is fused with pranayama (breathing exercises) and mindfulness to help ground you and achieve balance.

HIIT Yoga

30mins of High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) followed by 30mins of Yoga Flow class being held at Westwood Parish Rooms.

HIIT
An all over body workout designed for all levels wanting to develop their fitness. Bursts of intense body weight exercises carefully blended together to help unlock the fat-burning, metabolism-boosting, heart-pounding benefits of High Intensity Interval Training.

Yoga Flow
Flowing yoga postures carefully weaved together and designed to be synchronised to your breath to leave you feeling balanced, stretched, relaxed and energised.

This Power Flow is a strong dynamic flowing practice that will build quickly whilst encouraging you to breath, stretch, strengthen to ultimately leave you feeling invigorated - the perfect way to finish &/or start your day!

This is a mixed multi level class can be tailored for beginners or seasoned yogis a like.

This Restorative Yoga 1-2-1 is a gentle class that uses the aid of props- blocks, bolsters, blankets, and straps to support the body in a handful of long-held floor poses. This practice is great for anyone looking to slow down, to relieve stress, to calm the excessive mind chatter, or even those recovering from injuries. Fully supported by props, we allow our mind to let go of tension, which releases negative thought patterns and stiffness in the body. Nourish yourself with this deep restorative practice.
