Daily Poppins have been my regular cleaners now for 5 years. Their staff are very friendly and efficient. The quality of their cleaning has been high. There are usually 3 cleaners in each team, sometimes 2 at holiday times. I Have to say it's a real shame that people only jump on Google to give bad reviews when these girls probably have 100s of happy clients. Personally I've had a great experience. I booked them, they turned up on time, they even text 20 minutes before they arrived to let me know they were on their way - a nice little touch. The house was spotless when they were finished but it was the little touches that made me think "these girls really care about their work". For example, after cleaning the bath they placed all the kids bath toys (which have numbers 1 to 10 on them) neatly lined up in order. They had just been in a pile in the middle of the bath. I know that might sound like a tiny thing but it's that kind of attention to detail that makes these girls highly recommended. I have passed their detail on to my parents and my friends. One member of each team speaks excellent English.The company is also flexible and prepared to change the day or week they visit if I'm away, although on two occasions this resulted in confusion and the team didn't arrive when expected. With regard to the previous bad reviews there have been one or two incidents when payments were taken when a visit had been cancelled. I booked them on an offer that came through on a leaflet for 10% off 1st clean. I only intended to have a single spring clean but have decided to have them round monthly. I've read some bad reviews since booking about Daily Poppins however I have to say they have been extremely good ! I was a bit surprised when 2 cleaners turned up but it was good because while one cleaned the other did some ironing for me and then did a bit of washing up. I have used Daily Poppins in Newbury for many years. I have always found them thorough and conscientious. It is not always the same people, but they have all been courteous and friendly. Any issues have been rapidly sorted out. Using a firm does work out more expensive than using an individual cleaner, but has the major benefit that there are no breaks for holiday or sickness and you don't have to find someone new when your cleaner leaves.
