You guys provided us with the absolutely perfect setting for our wedding!We recently got married at Bawdon Lodge Farm and we knew we wanted a tipi wedding reception. From the moment we met Jodie and the team at Sami Tipi they have been unbelievably helpful in guiding us to creating such an amazing venue for our reception.We had so many compliments on the tipis, how intimate yet spacious enough to feel comfortable they are, and even on a pretty cold day in October all of our guests felt warm and comfortable.Seriously, the service these guys provide is absolutely outstanding! From start to finish Jodie, Craig and everyone at Sami Tipi were just brilliant. Our wedding was fabulous and the tipis are such a wonderful space to be in. All our guests loved them. All the team are really friendly whilst being super professional. Planning meetings with Jodie were always good fun! The whole experience was easy, enjoyable and totally stress free. Oh gosh where do we begin!! Sami Tipi are absolutely incredible. That’s the tipis themselves, all the added extras and of course each and every member of the team. We first experienced the tipis 2 years ago when we got engaged. We went to an open day (hugely recommend attending) and literally made our decision to go with Sami Tipi there and then. From that moment everything has been perfect. Our wedding day was the best day of our lives for many reasons. One of which was because we got to celebrate with friends and family in the unique, beautiful, magical tipis. You can’t describe what a Tipi set up is like until you experience it. But once you have experienced it there is no going back that’s for sure! They allow you to create one look during the day and a completely different look during the evening. They get people talking and offer such a memorable experience. I genuinely think we would live in one if we could! The lead up to our wedding was so much fun. Jodie and the team are a joy to work with and the whole planning experience involved so many smiles and laughs. The team themselves are organised, helpful, flexible and creative. Each and every member should feel so proud of the hard work they put in. You can tell that they enjoy their jobs and are passionate about what they do. We had a videographer for our wedding day and one of the reasons for doing so was so we can relive the magic of the tipis whenever we want to! Not only were you extremely helpful from start to finish but the team even put up the tipi in the rain with a huge smile! As well as providing us with the Tipi you also put us in contact with many of the other services we needed for our festival wedding making the organising of the wedding run extremely smooth! We got married a few days ago and used Sami Tipi and we couldn't recommend them enough. When we first went enquired they came out to the site straight away and were helpful and friendly and honest. Then on the run up to the weddings they always answered any questions right away and had meetings with us to keep us in the loop and made sure we were always happy with how things were going. When the tipi went up the team were super efficient and it looked beautiful. Everyone at the wedding said it was the best one they had ever been to. Then it was taken down and the field was perfect again a couple of days later! Again if you want an outside wedding Sami Tipi is the best option by far! More...

We feel so lucky to have found Sami Tipi just as we were considering a tipi structure for our wedding. First of all, their outdoor wedding book was very helpful. We read it in one weekend and it gave us the confidence that we could transform a private forest into a magical wedding experience. Our first meeting with Jodie was further proof that we had found our dream team. She asked many questions — some we hadn’t even asked ourselves — and her deep experience in the wedding industry came through. I should add here that we had decided not to use a wedding planner and that the things we leaned from Jodie really helped fill that gap. What we loved about the first meeting was that Jodie had many ideas but was never pushing us to spend more. She was very transparent with pricing and let us figure out how big and bold we wanted to go.Perhaps one of the biggest unexpected bonuses was Sami Tipi’s network of suppliers. Our recommendations for caterers, bar and photographer all came from Jodie and they were all spot-on. This took away a lot of the anxiety because it made it easier to coordinate our wedding team.In the run up to the wedding, Jodie’s knowledge really shone through. She knew what decisions needed to be made by when, which helped us a lot. When wedding week came, the Sami Tipi team did a fantastic job putting up our tipi. I’ll never forget the first night when we stood in front of that beautiful structure and turned on all the lights. Pure magic. Even on the big day, we had a small wrinkle in our plan and Craig came to our rescue like a knight in a shining Land Rover. Overall, we highly recommend Sami Tipi to anyone considering an outdoor wedding. They really know their stuff. They really cared about our day. And it’s clear that they love what they do. Jodie's team at Sami Tipi are incredible. They were so supportive, helpful and kind. We couldn't have asked for more. Jodie had meetings with us in the run up to our wedding and even did them via google hangouts so that we could arrange everything from the comfort of our own sofa!

I fist spoke to Jodie almost 2 years before our wedding day. I saw some Tipis on Pinterest and had decided thats what I wanted, but where to put them and who on earth do I find to supply them? A quick internet search found Sami Tipi and a quick email later we were going to see a field!!! We booked not long after! Jodie is such an amazing lady and has such incredible ideas. Thoroughly recommend Sami Tipi for the ultimate outdoor wedding. My daughter and new daughter in law, organised one for their wedding. Everything about the tipi was exceptional, from the guys that put it up and took it down, the fairy lights, the inside fire, the comfy area , the table and chairs and the dance floor complete with disco ball. We already had a venue booked, but I wanted long bench tables for the banquet vibe we were going for, so we used their furniture hire service only. They were great at keeping in contact and travelled quite a way to deliver and pick up the tables for us. We had our wedding at Mapperley Farm on 17 June 2017 in a 3 x Giant Hat tipi with chill-out and catering annex. Thank goodness we also had a 'little hat' which started life as a smoking shelter but quickly became a place of welcome shade on a blisteringly hot day! The tipis were simply stunning and provided a magical space for wining, dining, mingling and dancing. A HUGE and HEARTFELT THANK-YOU to Jodie, Craig and team for their consistent help, support and TLC. The pre-event meetings with Jodie felt like meeting up with a good friend and Craig and 'the boys' on set-up and take-down deserve medals for working across a few scalding days! We booked Sami tipi for our wedding on the 27th May 2017. From start to finish Jodie and Craig were amazing. We looked around but no where did the customer service that this couple provided, not even close. They were relaxed but extremely efficient and organised. Jodie is a kind, warm and unintrusive but when needed first on hand for advice and suggestion. Craig does all the behind the scenes work and had the huge tipi up in no time at all, for us to put our own stamps. The tipi itself and equipment was in immaculate condition, so much choice with furniture and little touches. Completely blew us away. Tipi weddings are truly magical! And we really can't thank Jodie and Craig enough for all their help and support. Constantly on hand to answer any questions/ concerns and gave some really great advice! They also have so many finishing touches which bring the Tipi to life, such as furniture and lighting which really turns the Tipi into a stunning venue. You must also check out their book 'The ultimate guide to planning an outdoor wedding' so helpful to us. We went to many tipi open days before booking our wedding but after meeting Craig and Jodie we knew Sami Tipi outshone the rest. Just amazing! We used Sami Tipi for our wedding using our own venue (in the middle of a field with no electricity or water supply). We thought it would be challenging not having a static venue and having to organise toilets, electricity, water and the challenges of remote catering. However, Jodie and Craig were so helpful pointing us in the right direction, booking the generator for us, calling us with reminders and being there if we had a panic. Thanks to Sami Tipi we had the most amazing, beautiful and unique wedding with such a great atmosphere. We were not restricted by the time demands and requirements of a venue so we had two and a half days to add those special touches before the wedding (which I now understand is very unique for a wedding venue). Jodie was one of the first people we spoke to when we started planning our wedding and we were so pleased to have found her! We were initially worried that a tipi wedding would be too much for us to plan and that we would forget to think of something but Jodie was there to help every step of the way and took a lot of the organising off our shoulders. She was always available to talk about any query, no matter how big or small. It was absolutely amazing to see the tipis set up for our big day. They are totally unique and really are a beautiful blank canvas to create your own style. It was such a magical setting. All the team at Sami Tipi were quick, efficient and friendly throughout.
