I randomly dropped in for a haircut today and was greeted with really friendly and lovely staff and a fantastic (and swift) haircut, which I love. Really welcoming vibe and reasonable prices. I will definitely be back! I only wish I asked for my hairdresser's name (it was the lovely Turkish (/Armenian/Greek haha) lady who have me a long fringe and layered my hair!). Would recommend! The staff here are professional, friendly and welcoming. On entering I was immediately offered tea or coffee and was made to feel relaxed. The hair dresser then took the time to ask what I was looking for from my cut and with good communication we both decided on a cut and style that would suit me. He did exactly what he said he was going to do and was receptive to my suggestion of taking slightly more off - the cut was perfect.I will definitely be returning to this salon and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a professional but friendly service. I found them on the Internet with fair reviews, asked them to cut & perm my hair in addition to prepare my cut long hair for a charity, in a budget. They kindly accepted this in a light-hearted manner and did very good job!The male hairstylist is experienced and diagnosed necessary techniques from a printed image of my desired hair style at a glance, without reading its description (amazing!).The salon staff were friendly, and I enjoyed nice herbal tea and coffee.Yet my oriental hard & strong hair needed two days unwashed to make my perm stay (common situation), I am pleased with the result, & my family, too. Ocean is an amazing waxing specialist! I'd always been afraid of getting waxed as it was always so painful. Today my fear was banished as I had the most painless experience as a wax can get. This is my whole family's go to place..
From my daughter's funky braids, my husband's cuts to my very difficult, blonde, dyed hair. . I've been to so many salons around the globe and this place is up there with the best of them.. Mainly because my hair is so difficult not to turn reddish when coloured and the owner/hairdresser (Bilge) who cuts and colours my hair is amazing.. Waxing is also great and a fraction of any other place around.. Such a friendly, neighbourhood place as well.. It does't look like much from the outside, but the professional quality service they provide makes up for it... And the price is 1/2 of what I normally pay in the West end hair salons.... More...
