Cumbrian Driveways are the worst company that I have ever had the misfortune to deal with.
They laid a resin driveway and path to the front and side of my house.
When it was completed there were several areas where the resin and gravel had been mixed incorrectly and inconsistently meaning that three patches had to be laid where the resin had not bonded and the gravel came loose, the colour of these patches is completely different to the rest of the drive and the finish looks appalling. In several other areas, it appears that too much resin was applied to the mix and the consistency of the finish did not match the surrounding area, again ruining the look of the drive.
Finally and most seriously, after they had left I found that where they had fitted a new, smaller drain cover to an existing drain on the drive, they had fitted a piece of ply wood into the gap between the new cover and the edge of the drain to support the resin.
This means that in the not too distant future when the wood rots, there will be no support for the resin and it will probably collapse when weight is applied.
As this would be an extremely dangerous situation, I am going to have to pay another company to dig up and relay the drive correctly and safely.

Thank you: I Dhoni did you do it from my money two days before Christmas now you’re trying to ruin my reputation with lies yes in one part of it the resin Bond in a 42 m² driveway one patch to 2“ x 3“ could have any number reasons I like I’ve already told you it wasn’t a mix if it was the mix it would’ve been a bigger bigger area is each mix will do around 9 m² not 1 inch in regards to the Manhattan the manhole is surrounded on concrete the plywoodPut to one side so the concrete could sit there was no need to remove it already told you I can come and remove the plywood if you want the resin is set on concrete well again thank you so much

Was let down by about 4 contractors and then Cumbrian driveways contacted me . I can’t rate them highly enough . A great team of workers and whole patio area done in one day needed digging out etc .
So pleased with that area had an extra bit done today which took less than three hours .
