Although we only needed an annual service for our boiler, Cosy Abodes were very accommodating when I called to book it in. Today their engineer James attended and carried out the service. He was a very personable, polite and helpful young man who was efficient and left no mess whatsoever. He completed the paperwork from a tablet that was in my email inbox before he even left our home. We were a bit nervous about getting this job done as it felt like it could create a lot of stress and mess. New boiler in the garage, remove the old hot water and gravity fed tanks from the loft, new unvented cylinder in another location upstairs, convert heating to a sealed system and renew all the pipe work in between. Shouldn’t have worried. Joel and his team are incredibly professional, very clean and tidy and really go the extra mile to get things done right, in as short a time as possible. Also helps that they are a friendly bunch too! We are really pleased with the new system, powered by a Worcester boiler. Needs half the time to get the hot water we need each day and warms the house much quicker. We’ve also now got zones for the heating all controlled with smart thermostats, the whole installation designed by Joel after spending a lot of time with us determining what we really needed. Cosy Abodes installed a new modern boiler and new showers and some some new radiators. They removing the old appliance, tanks, pipework and radiators on a job the took a few days. All the work was really well organised, and very tidy considering all the work going on. At the end of every day it was arranged that services were available overnight to minimise disruption to our daily life. I would definately recommend Cosy Abodes. More...
