Cornerstone Authentic Care (CAC) Limited provides a domiciliary care service for adults and older people in the Midlands and surrounding areas. We provide a wide range of personalised home care services, live-in care and support for those adults who may have some limitations such as physical, emotional, sensory or mental health issues or those who may require companionship. We endeavour to provide compassionate care which maximizes on you or your family’s independence in their own homes.
Our care packages are all about giving you the choice over your care and how it’s tailored. It’s all about providing you with person centred care while working collaboratively with your carer. Be it live-in care, home care, companionship, care for couples, night care support, you will be the driver of your care and your carer will be the additional hands, eyes and ears needed. When we meet you for your assessment, we will jointly sit down together to create a bespoke plan of care tailored for you. Your carer will then follow the care plan to support and assist you in your own home. The care plan will be reviewed regularly to ensure that your changing needs are met.
We also aim to give back in our community, make a difference in individuals’ lives by bringing care to their homes. We are all about providing the highest standard of care and serving those who will use our service.
Shelly, our registered nurse manager has 30 years’ experience of working in the health care sector, initially as a carer and later as a qualified nurse and CQC registered service manager. She is a qualified independent prescriber, and is highly experienced and skilled in risk assessments, formulation and management within inpatient and community services, including services for older adults.
Earlier in her career, Shelly spent several years working as a live-in carer. Caring by nature, she is driven by passion of seeing people receiving the best care in the comfort of their home environment. She believes that the right carers can make a difference, enhance the life of people in their later years while giving their loved ones peace of mind. She is aware of the difference she made to those she looked after, providing them with the much needed independence to live a more fulfilled life. She knows exactly what it takes to provide the best care to service users, it’s about listening, being flexible and adaptable to meet individuals’ changing needs and promoting choice. One has to enjoy caring for people and seeing them achieve optimum health and independence.
