Tshepo has been fantastic with my father as a live-in carer and has been professional and thoughtful in all she has done. Nothing has seemed to phase her and she has shown herself to be very reliable and caring.

Tshepo cared for my 94 year old father as a 24 hour carer in his home. His home was in quite an isolated farmhouse and Tshepo was happy to meet the challenge of being in this setting.
She cared for my dad with love, care and compassion. She understood his need for dignity and showed him respect at all times.
Tshepo prepared and encouraged him to eat healthy meals and stepped up to multiple challenges when his needs changed. She gave above and beyond what was asked and nothing was too much trouble, always meeting new situations with a smile and a ‘can do’ approach.
Tshepo was confident in assessing his health needs and when to call in medical support. She became a friend and support to the whole family and was always happy to work closely with us.
Thank you for all you have done Tshepo

In some cases, it may be possible to provide certain care services to the elderly remotely. However, it largely depends on the specific needs and circumstances of the individual. Remote care services include tasks such as medication reminders, virtual companionship, assistance with technology, and even remote health monitoring. However, hands-on care, physical assistance, and medical procedures typically require in-person presence. It is essential to assess the needs and consult with healthcare professionals to determine the most appropriate and effective care options for each individual.

To keep your clients safe from COVID-19, I have implemented the following changes:

1. Enhanced Sanitization: Increased frequency of cleaning and disinfecting commonly touched surfaces such as doorknobs, countertops, and equipment. Providing hand sanitizers or handwashing stations for clients to use.

2. Social Distancing Measures: Rearranged furniture or workstations to maintain a safe distance of at least 6 feet between clients. Limited the number of clients allowed in the facility at a time to avoid overcrowding.

3. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Required staff and clients to wear masks or face coverings while interacting with each other. Provided masks or face shields for clients who may not have their own.

5. Appointment Scheduling: Established appointment-only systems to minimize walk-ins and reduce the number of people in our facility at any given time. Staggered appointment times to avoid overcrowding in waiting areas.

6. Remote Services: Offered virtual or phone consultations for clients who prefer to minimize in-person interactions. Provided online shopping or delivery options to limit physical contact.
