What do you love most about your job?
Helping people to get what they want enables me to get what I want. Two satisfied parties and the reward at seeing a successfully completed project.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I worked for a local builder for 3 years after leaving Technical College studying Construction. When work became scarce I just started on my own. I never intended this to happen but it became a way of life. I have not looked back and have gained great interpersonal skills and experience over the years that have followed. I have built many houses including one of my own which was a great experience.
Why should our clients choose you?
Well to quote customers comments would take a long time, I have a long list of them (available on request). Suffice to say that I have successfully run a construction company working with Clients, Architects and Local Authority and have established good relationships with all. Furthermore I have many happy clients stretching back over many years.
I have latterly been managing development and extension projects as a SMSTS qualified site manager for the last 7 years for one company, who have now no new projects in the pipeline.
Last but not least...
“The grey hair factor” the wisdom that can only come with years upon years of experience and that’s my main selling point for a Project. I’ve been around the block and found most ways of how not to do stuff!

Site Visit & Consultation
For a fee of £100 plus VAT (payable in advance) we offer a site visit (at 7-8am in the morning or earlier) and consultation on your proposals.
This will include taking away plans and advising a budget figure on the same day.
If you would like to forward plans or sketches before a site visit we will be much better informed prior to meeting with you. Images will provide a helpful insight too. Legible sketches will provide a useful reference indicator also.
A budget figure is an educated, experienced, intuitive guess from an expert and not a quotation.
For a quotation we would need all planning and structural engineers, building regulation drawings. This quotation will take 2 weeks from receipt of all relevant information.
