I can not recommend Scott and Coastway financial enough. What Scott has done for me goes above and beyond. When all hope was lost he just didnt give up, he was like a dog with a bone. When Scott finally got my mortgage approved he didnt stop there. He put me in touch with the best solicitors to deal with the sale, he arranged my Life insurance directly and sorted out a broker for my buildings and contents insurance. Mine was a very complex case, due to CCJs, change from full-time employment, to self employed, inconsistent time lines on previous addresses and incorrect payments to the tax office. Scott was upfront and honest with me from the very beginning. He said straight away that it would be a struggle to find a company that would approve my mortgage, but that he would do his absolute best. Scott kept me constantly updated every step of the way and always returned my calls and emails. The first company that would even consider looking at me, unfortunately declined my application.Scott fully explained to me that there were very few options remaining and if I did managed to get approved then my rates were likely to be much higher. I approached another broker, who told me that he would be able to get me a mortgage easily and at fantastic rates.The complete opposite of what I had been told by Scott. However, as time went on the other broker quickly realised that he had spoken to eagerly and rather than admitting his fault, started avoiding my calls. In the meantime Scott had managed to secure me a mortgage in principle. I complained to the other broker's manager and was finally contacted by him again. He had to admit that he could not better the deal found by Scott, but could match it and would waive his fee. I declined his offer, as I would rather pay the extra money and get the amazing service offered by Scott. It took 4.5 months to completion, but I could not fault Scott throughout the whole process.
