At the heart of Clemente is independence and reassurance – we believe that everyone should stay in their own home for as long as possible, it promotes independence and wellbeing.
Family and friends often become full /part time cares and understandably feel if they cannot be with their loved one’s all the time the only safe alternative is a care home. We believe that Clemente care can provide everyone with an alternative which allows your loved ones to stay in their home longer and continue with their independence, while giving reassurance to you they are safe.
We are embracing non-intrusive technology to enable us to monitor and provide reassurance you that your loved ones are safe and well.
Our service
Although we book a time for your visits, our carers only work within one postcode they can generally be with a loved one within 10 mins
We book time slots as we understand routine is essential for many , but we provide flexibility so should our friends require longer we will provide this – we will never rush off because time is running out
This is if we are needed for longer at times we will not rush off and say we ‘can’t do it’ our staff are allocated to clients in a way that they can spare that extra 15 min or ½ hour to make sure we have covered all the clients care needs and the little extras they need doing.
Nothing is too much for our team, we will never say “we can’t” if the team needs additional support to fulfil the clients requirements they will call the office for support and advise and we will do all we can to get the help to the team and client.
In these uncertain times we are aware that families and clients need the reassurance that the care and support is going to be with them, and their needs cared for to an outstanding quality. For that reason, we offer Zoom calls or Skype calls to relatives and or clients at a time to suit you to discuss the care we deliver or answer any of your questions, from the initial enquiry stage all the way through your care journey with us.

How we work
1. We carry out a detailed assessment with your loved one at their home to ensure we provide the right level of care and most importantly to begin understand them.
2. A proposed care package is proposed based on need and goals
3. We suggest some carers, you and your loved ones choose who you believe is most suitable.
4. We offer visiting times and duration to suit your needs. All our booking times are within a 15 minute period in order to give us flexibility should we need to provide more time to a previous loved one.
5. Over the first 2 weeks this is reviewed daily to ensure the level of care is right
6. We can make as many changes whenever you would like.
Clemente difference
Before setting up Clemente we researched what the common issues were in home/domiciliary care in order to put it right.
Q. My father has a different carer every time
We introduce your loved one to 2/3 carers, this ensures there is always consistency. Furthermore, and rare, if no familiar carers are not available we will ask if you are happy for someone else to visit.
Also all our carers are employed directly by us.
Q. We never know when the carer is coming, arrived or left.
You are notified when a carer arrives and when the carer has left. Loved ones can review exactly what care/assistance has been provided. Our continued investment in technology allows you to book adhoc visits.
Q. Carers rush through and leave when their allotted time is up
Simply we don’t our sole purpose is to provide care so should your loved one require longer assistance we will provide it.
Q. I’m at work and cannot get in contact with mum – I need reassurance she’s ok
With our technology you can request an immediate visit and as our carers are located within one postcode, they can generally be there within 15 mins
Q. The carers only do chores, there’s little care or social interaction
We have care buddies who can provide ancillary care services:-
- Shopping trips
- Cleaning together or not
- Cooking together
- Going for a walk , taking the dog out
Care buddies are there to facilitate your loved one’s daily routines -we truly believe in supporting independence
Q.No choice of carer
We provide a summary of the cares available and you choose, furthermore we understand that individuals have their idiosyncrasy- its natural, therefore if the carer isn’t the perfect fit let us know we’re make the change, we work around you.
Mum doesn’t want help, but she needs it
We provide a free trial where our cares go in just to meet your mum there’s no cost it’s just for a coffee and chat and can go on for up to 4 visits.
We were charged because we cancelled without 24 hours’ notice
We require no notice to change or cancel appointments and there’s no cancellation charge ever.
A final note
We understand that this whole process is stressful enough. We will always go above and beyond to preserve your loved one’s independence as long as possible but will also always be honest, if we believe it’s safer for your loved ones to go into a home, we will let you know and we will be with you each step of the way.
