Grateful to covid for one thing - enabling us to change our wedding caterers to Milly, Charlotte and the Clean Slate team. We honestly cannot thank you all enough. After changing our date twice we finally had our wedding on September 4th at my grandparents farm which is quite literally a big field. From the offset Milly and Charlotte were flexible, helpful, listened, simple and easy to deal with and are super responsive. We love food and we love eating and drinking with our friends and family - we wanted our wedding to be no different so, it was one of our main priorities to provide high quality delicious food and to keep our guests tummy's full on our wedding day - Clean Slater Catering provided a canape reception, a three course sit down catered dinner for 80 guests, a team to run our bar (including cocktails) with a further 60 guests in the evening and the team excelled at every aspect. Ourselves and my parents are still receiving cards and compliments especially about the food and the service. Everything that we asked of the team was executed perfectly and impeccably. Meeting lots of people and visiting some really amazing places.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I set up my business when I was 16 and still at school (I am now nearly 40!) . Events is in my blood coming from a family that was always entertaining.
