How can someone tell if their loft is suitable for conversion?
If you are able to stand up within the loft space, this is typically a good indication you have sufficient height for a loft conversion, or a dormer conversion. The new staircase position must also be taken into consideration.
Run us through the different stages in the loft conversion process - what’s involved?
Subject to the type of loft conversion you are looking to undertake. The stages are to follow the RIBA Plan of Work. This typically includes an existing survey of the loft/property, followed by the design stages and any planning requirements (if necessary) followed by the Building Regulations drawings and specifications.

There is an element of requirement 'on-site'. This is typically for RIBA Stage 1, survey. However, every project is unique and most of the work can be done remotely.
