Jewel Shop was established in 1987 and we recently adopted our new name of ‘City of London Jewellers’ as we feel it more accurately represents our location and status. We are located in Eldon St which is within walking distance of both Liverpool St station and Moorgate station.

I have used city of London jewellers a few times in the past, always been very helpful and treated more like a friend than a customer. I honestly cannot rate Peter highly enough as a jeweller.
Unfortunately my Victorian engagement ring (original ring on my finger, picture on the left hand side) broke - pls note this was not bought from him - losing a diamond, and basically becoming a write off in the process.
I visited Peter to ask for advice, he was very kind to me in a time of great distress - clearly explaining my options, never pushing to make a sale, and always offering me alternative routes to go down. I decided to re-build the ring with him, a process which was shockingly quick (2 weeks? I suspect this was so speedy as he knew how upset I was!) and during which he kept me in the loop at all times, I would regularly pop in the shop to check the parts, the new diamond, try the fit, and so on. I appreciate his attention to detail and just how closely he matched the rings - even sourcing a replacement Victorian diamond to match the others as this was important to me. He also provided documentation of my new ring for insurance purposes - with an accurate valuation of the diamonds, the platinum holding & the gold band.
I will forever recommend him to anyone who needs a Jeweller's - a combination of his knowledge, experience, kindness, and patience really helped at an awful time!

My husband bought my engagement ring and our wedding rings here over five years ago, ever since then I always look in when ever I am passing.
I Love this shop, it is so different from the run of the mill high street shops, very convenient, within walking distance of Moorgate station. This store is small but classy. The staff are helpful and patient and don't push you to buy. (Highly Recommend) A first class service!!

Recommended to me by my uncle, this is a lovely little shop tucked away near Liverpool St station; great atmosphere and friendly service. Although I didn't find exactly what I wanted, despite the impressive selection, the chap (Peter) ended up making me a beautiful ring for my wife which was made to my exact specifications.
