About

Fully qualified, talented and highly reliable drone pilot. I provide a professional service across the UK and have the showreel to demonstrate my capabilities (with in house editing available). In addition, I am a chartered building surveyor (MRICS) which goes hand in hand with the aerial inspection work I carry out.

Q&As

I enjoy every aspect of being a drone operator, from project inception, helping the client define their requirements through to developing the flight plan, obtaining the relevent permissions and ultimatly capturing the data required by the client, whether its videogrpahy or photography or a mixture of two. I always aim to exceed the expectations of clients by delivering the very best quality media / data and this is what drives me in this field of work.

Creating and being in control of my own procedures and processes is a major part of why I chose to start my own business. By doing this I am able to ensure I deliver a consistent and professional service to each and every client.

I find that I have a very good client retention rate. I put this down to the fact that I am generally a very dependable and reliable person together with being a professional and talented drone operator. My level of detail and planning is what sets me apart - very often i spend more time planning a drone opewration then the flight itself - I do this to ensure there is no time wasted on site as simply, with British weather, sometimes you can not afford to have missed opportunities when out in the field.

Although I use remote methods to plan and prepare for drone operations, this field of work is typically conducted onsite and 'out in the field'

My risk assessments and method statements have been updated to address the risks surrounding Covid-19.

Services

FPV (first-person view) flight captures truly unique perspectives, pushing the boundaries of what drones can offer film producers and the wider film industry. In contrast to the more traditional drone applications, FPV flight requires dedicated skill and experience to not only capture the unique perspectives but most importantly to capture them safely.

My fleet of FPV drones allow payloads from GoPro's to cinema grade cameras such as RED Komodo's and everything in between...see the inventory page for more information as to what cinematography gear is included within my standard service.

Due to CAA regulations, a spotter is required when operating FPV drones. The spotter can be provided by the producer or included as part of the aerial film crew. Get in touch today to realise your vision!

Aerial drone photography is now well established and recognised as the most affordable way of capturing unique perspectives for a diverse range of applications. My equipment inventory is able to capture high resolution aerial photography for a diverse range of clients from wedding photographers and venues right through to estate agents and construction contractors. I utilise drones that feature a zoom lens and low noise propellers therefore making them discrete. Get in touch today and find out how I can help you realise your project full potential.

LoS (Line-of-Sight) flight is the more traditional and relaxed method of capturing a unique birds eye perspective of the World below. Combining my skill as a drone operator with my photographic creativity, I can be a great asset to a wider film crew and capture truly unique footage for filmmakers, production companies and TV broadcasting agents. Available for hire at both full-day and half-day rates to help your next film project stand out from the rest.

Combining my chartered status as a building surveyor (MRICS) with my license to conduct commercial drone operations, I am able to offer unique all encompassing aerial surveying service for the inspection of high level buildings that are typically too difficult and expensive to reach. One of the major advantages of drone surveys is its versatility and comparatively low cost.

As a chartered building surveyor myself, I do agree there is no better place to be then right in front of the object being surveyed, however drones are able to capture data quickly, safely and is completely non intrusive. In many cases, drones can be used as a complementary service alongside more traditional surveying methods. Please contact me for a free consultation on any projects you have in mind.
