We are based in the Surrey and Berkshire. We offer End Of Tenancy, Deep Cleans, Domestic and Commercial and one off cleans on a regular and ad-hoc basis - all fully insured.

The owner/manager Melissa is unprofessional and unorganised, as she refuses to take calls when you try and contact her.

Nina was a client with us for over 2 years and during that time we had a positive relationship with her as she's indicated with reliability and communication. Unfortunately over time the hygiene and the conditions that the ladies had to clean declined and although we had communicated both via email and on the phone to her that we were unable to continue to offer the service anymore, she continued to call and email us to the point that we had to advise her that we were removing her option to contact us as it had become excessive and we would not be engaging with her further. As a business we have to ensure the welfare of our team members and all the clients that we offer a service too and this can mean difficult decisions. We tried to handle this discreetly and sensitively and as we appreciate that it will be difficult for Nina to find an alternative service provider that will clean her property. We wish her all the best and hope that with reflection she will understand our decision on this particular occasion but as a business we will have to ensure the welfare of our team members is maintained.

Do you bring your own equipment and supplies?
We give you the option to decide what service you want - we have a more cost effective option of using your products or we can bring quality products to your home..... we even take away the dirty cloths so you really do walk into a clean home ready for you to just relax and enjoy
We use the client own equipment to avoid the potential transfer of allergens.
What do you love most about your job?
I absolutely love the Cinders family that has developed over the years. Especially with the recent Covid situation of late, I could not be prouder of the way every Cinders Cleaner has stepped up in their own application of H&S, the extra care and attention that they give each and every client. The flexibility with aligning calendars to elderly people's grocery deliveries, the little extras that make a difference at a time when a small difference makes a big impact. Covid-19 has turned us into a family aswell as a company and at this time, the pride I feel for everyone of our cleaners is what I love most about my job. We make a difference in a time that is very hard for everyone and that is what I love about my job.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Once Upon a Time
A modern day Cinderella who got fed up waiting for her fairy godmother and decided to help all the other Cinderella's out there and create Cinders Cleaners
An idea is born
The idea of Cinders Cleaners began out of frustration in trying to find a reliable, reasonably priced cleaner in my local area. I couldn't believe how hard it was. When I returned to work following my maternity leave it was under the premise that I would have the help of a cleaner at home just for a couple of hours a week. I was working in a demanding role for a global company as a HR manager in addition to trying to be the enthusiastic mummy I wanted to be to my two young boys.
14 months later and I was today's version of Cinderella, still trying to balance being a mum with a job and making the home the place of solace it should be.
The stop point came when I asked my eldest son what he was going to get me for Christmas. "Mummy, I'm going to get you a little helper to do all your adult things so we could spend more time together, all you do is clean work clean mummy."
He was right, and that was the wake up call I needed. I tried sourcing independent cleaners who would let me down on the day or just not show up. I tried companies who wanted to tie me into long contracts and charge me admin fees to sign to sign up or to cancel if I wasn't happy. Even when they weren't providing a reliable service, I still couldn't cancel without a charge and if I didn't pay it was passed to a credit agency. Something that was supposed to make my life easier created more stress and frustration .
I was so close to being defeated but instead I used my HR skills to create a company that kept it simple for clients, created a positive working environment for cleaners who were paid fairly and offered development opportunities. The result........
Cinders cleaners was born
As opposed to making ripples in the corporate world I wanted to make waves in the real world in ways that matter. Cinders Cleaners has a team of people that love working with us, ask them :)
