What do you love most about your job?
Making the people who use our service, their families and/or representatives' lives easier and manageable. Seeing our service users reach their full potential and being independent with choices and the way they want to run their lives.
It is result oriented, I get to see people achieve outcomes that improve their lives.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have worked in social care for over 15years and I felt I had reached a point where I was able to manage my own business. My passion in caring for other people, something that is culturally induced in me, made me realise that this is what I want to do for the rest of my life. What better way than to own and run a caring business.
Why should our clients choose you?
We prioritise the people who use our service in all decisions pertaining to their care and support. We include all our stakeholders in planning, commissioning and running all service delivery though a robust co-production model.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Regular hand washing wherever possible, if not to always use hand sanitiser.
Always wear full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), - apron, gloves, mask.
Encourage social distancing where possible.
Regular LFT before work
Support for stress, mental health and wellbeing.
Encouraging people who use our service to maintain good ventilation in the homes.
Cleaning and sanitising surfaces.
Reporting any symptoms and staying away from work.
We constantly follow and update our policies according to the Government and NHS regulations and updates.
Housing Support
We provide care and support to people in the comfort of their own homes. We support to maintain tenancy in a friendly, non-judgemental manner. This ranges from support with shopping, going out to access facilities in the community, maintaining diaries of appointments or special events, emotional support, cleaning and maintaining a safe environment, companionship etc. This list is not exhaustive.
Home Care
We provide care and support to people living in their own homes. Our priority is that the people who use our service maintain their independence and choice to achieve positive outcomes. We work with our service users to maintain their health and well-being. Our services include:
Personal care, Mobility support, Medication prompts and administering, cooking simple meals, cleaning and light house chores, Skin care, oral care etc. This list is not exhaustive.
