Chloe's restaurant is a beautiful restaurant with friendly staff and delicious food located in Plymouth. Their food is fresh and well presented. The chef is super friendly and welcoming speaking with customers. It's located near a car park for easy parking. It's great for families, couples or even a quiet meal by yourself. We just visited Chloes restaurant tonight for their pre theatre meal which was not that expensive but the quality was sublime. I opted for 3 courses one being the roast salmon on a bed of vegetables and it was like a taste explosion on my taste buds !!!! Absolutely beautifully cooked and presented thank you to the chef!! They also serve gluten free as an option, which for me is a bonus as I am usually ostracised in most restaurants although the choices in some now are getting better. Extremely convenient for the Theatre Royal, they do a special theatre 2 or 3 course menu and additionally an a la carte menu. High quality food and good value, not cheap but not expensive either. I have eaten at Chloes several times, from pre-theatre meals to birthday treats and have never been disappointed. The service is friendly and helpful, the menu is varied, the presentation creative, a true taste of France in the south west . The location is good, local parking, close to the theatre and city centre. Its even close to the ferry terminal, which proved very handy last time we were there as we could park the car at the terminal and walk to the restaurant to start our holiday in France off in style without negotiating over who drove the car. Lovely meal.A restaurant is ultimately about the food and having just paid £114 for two of us inclusive of drinks, I have to say it was a lovely evening. Booked to celebrate our anniversary, I had little idea of what to expect, having previously eaten in the restaurant when it was Barratt's? some years before.We had a lovely night, food was superb, wine was lovely and service was excellent. A memorable trilogy of frog's legs, l'escargot and foie gras, was followed by a delicious lambshank and a superb creme brulee perfection. Accompanied by a £22 bottle of rose we loved it all.The decor could do with a spring clean, but in the current economic climate, I was far more interested in the quality on the plate rather than the inadequacies of the decor and it was lovely.....would definitely recommend More...
