I absolutely love working with clients in schools, prisons and my private practice and spend all my spare time reading, watching YouTube and attending lectures, webinars and conferences to learn more about this ever changing and fascinating field.

I built, own and run a swim school teaching 260 children a week to swim; I went on a Hypnotherapy training to become a better teacher and fell hook line and sinker for the world of therapy. I have now got a manager for the pool and have studied more techniques in order to pursue a full time career as a therapist/educator of mental health.

I do not provide a sticking plaster or a crutch but rather give you a really good understanding of how your brain works giving you the tools and techniques to thrive in even the toughest of situations. I clear past trauma which has been encoded in your amygdala and neural pathways allowing you to feel safe and confident.

I have no preference for in person or remote work as they both work equally well.

Services

Havening Techniques ® are a form of therapy that help permanently treat and heal traumas, anxiety and phobias as well as to create positive alterations in our brain to enhance wellness and resilience. It is a psychosensory therapy, meaning we apply a sensory touch to produce a response (electro-chemical) that heals and positively alters our minds (psyche).



Past experiences can stay with us in our lives, resulting in unwanted responses and emotions to similar situations. These past experiences can be a significant traumatic event that produces PTSD symptoms. Equally it can be a seemingly insignificant experiences that our brain has stored in a way that produces a disproportionate emotional response. After the process, you will recall the memory or the event; However the negative emotional response is no longer there, or it may seem more distant or harder to remember.

As a former primary school teacher and also owner of The Dragon Pool swim school I have a huge amount of experience working with children. I teach children how their brains work through stories, magic tricks and drawings giving them tools and techniques to navigate challenging times. I also teach parents how to support their children

I use a wide range of tools and techniques to ensure there is always a coping strategy to hand no matter what the circumstance. "Life is 10% what happens to us and 90% how we react and respond to it", this allows us to find strength, courage and growth in any situation.
