I am extremely overwhelmed by the professionalism and person centred approach we received with cherish funeral directors. Tim and the team were very caring and compassionate from the start to end . We had a tricky request as our loved one passed away in Edinburgh and wished to have his funeral in Birmingham, Tim and the team arranged this and went above and beyond. I like to thank Tim and his team for a fantastic send off for our dear mother Dorothy. Tim was very helpful from the time we met him till the day of the funeral And thank you for looking after my mother when she was in your care it was such a beautiful day from the two white horses and carriage to the six beautiful white doves you organised for us, she would of been a one proud lady. April 11th our world was turned upside down on the passing of our dad ,husband, gramps, greatgramps & uncle. Who to choose to look after him on his final journey. Cherish Funeral Directors were there to support us. From our first meeting with Tim we all felt at ease as the care, support and empathy he showed us was outstanding. Alot of phone calls to arrange everything were made and all with the same care and empathy. Dads final day came and all at Cherish made a very hard day for us be a managable day. Nothing was too much trouble. I liased with Tim and Sue almost daily. Every question asked was answered.As a family we could not of asked for a better caring professional service from elsewhere.A big thank you to all staff at Cherish who looked after our Dad with such a high standard of care. I don’t know how to thank Cherish Funeral Directors. Tim, Sue, Arthur and Melvin were fantastic, compassionate and moved heaven and earth to give us the best day possible for my dad. It’s a scary time organising a funeral for the first time and losing a dad. But Tim, Sue and the team were outstanding. They made the impossible possible and we couldn’t thank them enough. The horse and carriage was beautiful, the dove release ended the day in such a calm and relaxed manner then we’ll be forever greatful. Sue looked after us through the chapel visit, Melvin lead the service and Arthur took charge on the day to make it memorable. The services at cherish funeral directors are the very best, tim and his team are very helpful and make things as easy as they can be at such a difficult time. They treated us with such kindness and had genuine care for what we wanted for our Dad and went the extra mile so we could achieve that.Our dad had the most amazing send off because of the work that Tim and the rest of the company do, he would have been very proud.
