Luke provided a quote, we agreed a price and then I purchased the paint required that he requested. On the day he and Ryan was to start, they didn't turn up or answer my calls and then sent me a message at that they had taken another job on as there was more money.

We both understand your point of view on the matter you have mentioned Bav. However we did negotiate with you originally after we reduced the original quote for you by £250, you then continued to negotiate the price down by another £150 (£400 total off the very competitive original quote). This lead to us feeling dissatisfied with the new price that you asked us to complete the work for as we provide a very professional service and complete all work to a high standard as you know because we were recommended to you. We did not intend to cause you any inconvenience however the final negotiated price did not accurately reflect the amount of work to be completed to the standard it would need to have been completed to. As far as our interactions go, you've been provided with a free quotation and advice on colours and quantities of paint required. You haven't paid anything for this service as we provide this for free to all of our customers. Overall, our point of view is that we are two men simply trying to run a professional painting and decorating business. We have bills to pay and business costs to cover in order to do this. We simply can't work for less than we need to earn and we do not charge more than we need to earn, we're very fair with pricing and expect the same level of respect in return. We wish you all the best for the future.
