after 15 years of working with my father , he retired due to ill health , and I had interviews with other local directly authorised firms , I DECIDED I would go directly authorised under my own wing with my own clients and see if I would succeed , and indeed I did I am still in business through the mortgage market crash of 2008 when a lot of my competitors called it a day

I am an independent mortgage and protection broker, I have been in the profession for 30 years since I left school working for family for 18 years and then from 2004 I established my own practice.
I am a member of the Society of Mortgage Professionals, I provide honest advice and the highest level of customer service which is a priority to me. I always provide my clients with a professional experience and will support you throughout the process, dealing with your solicitors, estate agents and the mortgage company to ensure your experience is as stress free as possible. My mobile phone is literally never off, this enables me to answer calls 7 days a week, if I cant answer just leave a message and I will always respond as soon as possible. Nowadays people have busy lives, so I conduct a lot of my meetings via telephone, email, skype or facetime. I am lucky to have clients all over the UK and have found my clients prefer to be contacted via one of these methods as this is more convenient for them. This enables me to be more flexible with the time we can speak whether that be In the evening or over the weekend. I will always do my utmost to accommodate what is most convenient for you. I have a shop fronted office with free parking to the front and rear.

I am available to offer home visits including weekend appointments via prior arrangement.

I am engaged to be married later this year and my fiancée also works within the mortgage finance sector for RBS.

My hobbies include golf, swimming and musical theatre of which I have appeared in more than 60 shows both locally and nationally playing comedy character roles.

I have also volunteered at major sporting events including the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow and Manchester where I was a front of house manager in Manchester and anti-doping in Glasgow. I have also worked on World and European Indoor Athletic Championships as a logistics team leader and work a lot on major road runs in the UK and officiating in the field at regional athletics meetings.

I am also a committed Christian and attend both St Leonards Church in Penwortham and St Lawrence's Church in Denton when I am at my fiancées house. I have been a Parochial Church Council member and also hold the roles of being a sides man and deputy church warden.

My main aim in life, when I took my Scout promise as a cub scout, was to always help others before myself and I left the Scouts with my Queens Scout award before being a Cub Scout leader for 4 years.
