What do you love most about your job?
Helping our clients to be able to stay in their own home, this is really important for well being, it makes it easier for people to keep their routines and be in a familiar environment. I love that we can build relationships with our clients because we aren't a bit agency that is time sensitive. Offering the best possible care at home without a stopwatch.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Knowing I could make a difference to people’s lives in the best possible way. I worked in a care home and realised that users would be much better being able to stay at home, I knew i could offer a bespoke service which allowed them to do this.
Why should our clients choose you?
Care by Kate is an independent company so very different from the bigger companies, we provide a positively different approach to care and aim to go above and beyond in every way. We offer a minimum of one hour time slots so we can spend quality time with you or your loved one. We can help with chores, shopping, companionship, pets, getting out and about and much more. We understand how important it is to be able to maintain independence and ensure that we help you or your loved one to do this.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Ensuring PPE is readily available to both us and our clients, washing hands more regularly and keeping clients upto date with the latest news/restrictions.
