What inspired you to start your own business?
I have a passion for the availability of accurate drawings. As-built drawings are usually the original design drawings revised to reflect any changes made in the field, i.e., design changes issued by change order, component relocations required for coordination, rerouting of distribution systems, etc.” My passion for the availability of accurate drawings in my working experience, whether for emergency fault finding, plant location, cable connections etc, was my inspiration for the business.

At Cad2D Outsourcing we provide draughting services to electrical substation design and installation contractors, As-built or As-constructed drawings update, Paper to CAD conversion, P&C secondary Interfacing & Cable schedule for electrical distribution substation projects. We focus on updating as-built drawing support to the electrical and utility industry. Our services include As Built/Constructed revisions to electrical schemes, wiring and general arrangement drawings, mechanical and electrical, graphic designing of network and multi-utility drawings, ie; where project drawings need revising from site mark-ups or comments after installation. We also offer conversion of paper and raster graphic images drawings to an accurate workable AutoCAD drawing or map overlays to show vector topography and geometry.
