Anthony is fantastic! And I mean it.
A humble, honest, intelligent man with very good morals and a logical view on relationships.
Me and my partner have been going to him for couples therapy and although as a couple we go up and down in our relationship Anthony is a great mentor and has helped us to value each other and our relationships immensely so we can continue to work on our journey together.
I see him also as a great mentor and his faith in God has helped our process immensely especially to help us place ourselves within the spiritual community and how to safely incorporate these core values into our relationship not with ourselves but with God.
A side note is that Anthony has been more than understanding with mine and my parents difficult financial situation and has been endlessly understanding about it all in a professional manner and has tried his absolute best to help us continue our sessions regardless of what is going on.

I am a firm believer of being given "life lessons", that need to be identified and learnt by situations life rolls in our way.
One of my lessons happens to be acceptance. I found myself in similar situations over and over again, where should I have practiced accepting what is, I could have mastered the art of accepting what i cannot change....but I didn't.
So, life presented me with a situation that is the most difficult one I have had to face in my 41 years of life; I have had to come to realise that the chronic disease of - my Beloved Mom, who is a 65 year old nurse, living 2000 km away from me, with my Dad - has progressed to end stage. As an emotionally closed up person, Mom never shared much about her life, difficulties, feelings or thoughts with me. As an emotionally open and in-tune person, I have always put together what is happening in her life from crumbs of information, sounds, pictures (we use chat apps) and the energy I felt. So, when she stopped working 4 weeks ago, she caught my attention..wasn't long before I first understood that her disease progressed to end stage. In a matter of days I have coordinated a full MDT of specialists to guide her care, during which I understood that she is in a critical, life threatening condition. I then lowered the goal of organised care from curative to palliative and offered it to her. She rejected both offers - not by words though. No words were ever spoken.
I wondered what it is that is overwriting the panic any human would feel, knowing that the situation can turn dire any moment - this is when I realised that my Mom has made her decision a long time ago. She decided to say no to life with this disease and planned everything out until the very end. Alone, at home, without her husband and daughter knowing. This is what I have to accept right now and in this very moment, Anthony reached out and took my hand to guide me through darkness. It was nothing short of a life changing moment when in my sheer panic, someone understood and saw me and knew I needed help. It is a miracle and that is how I can describe Counsellor Anthony; miraculous. It was a moment that has imprinted in my essence of being forever. Anthony, you were born with a talent. I couldn’t recommend Anthony enough. He gave great relationship advice, asked important hard questions and gave us autonomy to have our own view of our relationship whilst expertly diagnosing what could be the problem which was right in the end. We had several couple’s sessions with Anthony, we went into our sessions thinking we knew what our problems were but we had only scratched the surface.
Anthony made us aware of issues that we essentially didn’t realise we had and by virtue of that, we didn’t know how to address something which we didn’t know was affecting our relationship. Anthony helped us to identify several issues so that we could then begin to work on them with his support and guidance.
Anthony is very understanding and is completely non judgemental. He gives a lot of examples of scenarios and asks both parties to respond with their point of view which makes it easier to detach and feel less insecure / embarrassed of the subject matter. He provides a lot of analogies which gave us hope and helped us to connect and understand each other better. We have now been discharged from Anthony’s care as he only seeks to help and then let you continue with the changes and work on your relationship - although we know we can go back to him if we ever need support or advice. Anthony is someone who uses all cues; he picks up on body language, gestures and uses it to point towards a solution.

He is very relatable which helps during our sessions. He knows how to capture a seemingly insignificant moment and turn it into something to ponder on, question and develop within your relationship.

While you probably feel vulnerable, he creates an environment where you can freely share as he doesn’t make anyone feel like a bad guy. All he does is share another perspective.

I had a couple’s session with Anthony, followed by sessions after the break-up. Anthony dealt with our challenges with a lot of care and wisdom. He doesn’t just sit there quietly listening – he identifies the problem through clear questions and pinpoints the issues very succinctly. He gives plenty of examples. He is very reconciling and provides a lot of hope. He made our problems feel smaller and more manageable. Me and my husband have been working with Anthony for a few weeks now and we can already see a positive change in our relationship and ourselves.
